How long does a dislocated shoulder keep you out for?

From NHS:

“You can stop wearing the sling after a few days, but it takes about 12 to 16 weeksto completely recover from a dislocated shoulder. You'll usually be able to resume most activities within 2 weeks, but should avoid heavy lifting and sports involving shoulder movements for between 6 weeks and 3 months.”

Varies a lot I think. Some need pinning etc. Wonder if it's the first time he's done it? Played against a bloke who dislocated his, and he just leant against a railing and popped it back in himself. Carried on playing. Hard or what!!

Don't think it was a dislocated shoulder. I'd guess it was collarbone.

If it was dislocated he would have been in much more pain, unless it went straight back in.
