Driving to Brum maybe, but the train is just a bit more of problem for many. I know someone said it is just a question of hopping on the train, but you have to get to the station. Look, I'd hope we'd learn from last time(!) and not pick apart peoples' decisions to go or not. There are factors which to some will be irrelevant, but an issue to others. It's fair to say there's a bit more inconvenience if you live in the city going somewhere other than the city. To some, that won't be an issue, to others, it will. That's all.

Cost is massive factor for sure, so I couldn't say for certain I would go to Ryton, no.But your argument seems to be based on travel time so if the ground was at Ryton and just in the border I assume you wouldn’t go either.
