There’s no guarantee it’s St. Andrews. I have it under good authority talks broke down between CCFC and BCFC weeks ago. Whether said talks have restarted is another matter but it wasn’t left positively in April when I was told. Hence why the club has repeatedly stated that the Ricoh was the only feasible option.

I'm knocking on a bit now - will just wear an extra t shirt and a pair of gloves, and drink a couple of extra beers. If it is St Andrews, away followings will be higher than at Northampton (as will the 'home' support this time (I believe) Think we will average 5-7k (but we will see)

If the poster on here is correct about Blues ground share having stalled, I hope SISU haven't been blagging about that heads of terms stuff re: another ground - imagine if we really had nowhere to go?!? Doesn't bear thinking about.

I wouldn't put it past SISU to fall out with anyone. They seem to have the negotiating skills of your average bouncer . Their inability to get on with almost anyone it seems will leave the club in an even worse bargaining position the longer this goes on. Incompetent arseholes I'm afraid.

Always said I wouldn't watch a Cov home game outside of the city but I think I'm going to go this time in light of the latest statement from the club, (That's if I'm not in jail by then for beating a wasps fan to death with the snot encrusted sleeve of his fleece).

The average fan only turns up at Wembley anyway so I doubt their refusal to attend will have much impact on the club.

Unlike last time, I shall attend as and when I can regardless of where we play. Different circumstances.

Shame it won’t be Sixfields - only 3 miles from home. Hay ho - a cross I may have to bare!

A bit of gallows’s humour never hurt anyone

You really do seem to have a hatred for those who don’t go week in, week out. You do know it’s not compulsory to go to the football don’t you?

No, as I said it just doesn't have as much impact as season ticket holders not renewing.

I hate people that support the actions of the franchise scum.

Is it? Many are saying they will go this time. I went twice to six fields - season ticket this time no question

Make no mistake 5k will be success, I think we’ll have more sympathetic fans but if the club starts off badly it will tail off. We need a sixfields style start

We mix in different circles then, because I would say 99% of people I have asked have said they will not attend.

I will be very, very surprised if we get 5,000 in any groundshare scenario.

The circumstances are such that I have no option but to back my football club. At Northampton the option to return to the Ricoh was there the whole time. That option isn't there this time. I'm in for the renewal of 4 STs.

Think todays revelations may change a few people's minds. It was certainly a tipping point for me.

Good for you. To me, it’s not the players fault, they will still be playing for our club, and if people can afford the extra cost of watching our home matches at a groundshare, and can physically make the journey, then why not support the team?

Maybe. Depends where the groundshare is though.

I haven't changed my mind. You have to remember there are confidentiality clauses in place, so we still don't exactly know what is going on and being said in these meetings.

I don't believe what any side says, Wasps, Sisu, Council.

Don't trust any of them.

Not at all. You are mixing me up with someone else.

I have never been one of the not one millimetre outside of Coventry types.

I might have considered Nuneaton as a ground share, but Birmingham and beyond is a no for me. Couldn't do it even if I wanted to.

It may be true that not as many older fans will want to go on a freezing tuesday night in winter, but if they've bought a season ticket it matters not whether they are there or not in terms of finance. I would have problems attending night games but will still probably get a season ticket for me and my lad. I've also thought that a way of hastening wasps demise would be to attend Cov rugby in greater numbers and give them the resources to get into the premier league, i think if that happened Wasps would be finished in this city.

If I could truly afford it I would be happy to buy a season ticket and not go at all for sure.

I agree on the Cov point. The bigger Cov are, the more it hurts Wasps.

Yes. On finance.

Would be a bit daft to take finance out on a ticket I would never use.

Fair play, but it's my one vice. I don't drink or smoke, or go on holiday and hardly ever go out, so to use the one bit of spare money I have to get finance for something I am not going to use, would be a bit dumb of me.

I don't really want to be calling you out on personal finances but if you can afford it for the ricoh then you can afford it elsewhere. Especially as it will in all likelihood be cheaper. If you don't want to because you get nothing out of it then fair enough but it isn't the same thing.

Can all of us who have season tickets next year make sure we buy the full allocation of away tickets too so we don’t get loads of NOPM dickheads at the away games?

Buy them, sell them on to the NOPM lot at double the price and donate the rest to the club.

Cash starved I’m not sure about, because the club would get the F+B money, as well as parking money wouldn’t they? Wouldn’t completely cover the drop in attendance (actually that depends how much the attendance actually drops), but would help.

Why would the host club offer the F& B profits anymore than Wasps. Sadly it will be part of the attraction to the new Landlords.
