10% seems an extremely high figure, based on those numbers then 1k didn’t turn up?Our attendances are steadily dropping this season. I know we have only had 3 games at home so far but I'm wondering if the fair-weather supporters who enjoyed the promotion last season are beginning to wain already?
Scunthorpe 12,964
Plymouth 11,453
Rochdale 9,879
I also question the attendance figures in any case - I think these are worked out on tickets sold not people attending so I think you could probably take 10% off the published attendances anyway.
I know the start has been indifferent to say the least, but I'm hoping that now the holidays are over (season ticket holders missing games due to being away etc etc) and if we can see the team start to get the results we know they are capable of, we might see this trend reverse and the numbers increase.
The lads seem to be working hard and they certainly deserve our support that's for sure!
We've only have that a couple of times in this league so I would say it is overly optimistic15K should be a not too overly optimistic target.
Buying my Bristol Rovers tickets now. It's £20 for standing without a roof, £24 quid to sit in a tiny stand with no facilities and a tent for a roof. Our prices are not particularly high.Poor performances and prices league 1 and we’re charging over £20 for adults

£12 to watch Chippenham Town vs Concord Rangers in Vanarama National League South at the weekend. £18 a game through a 6 match package at City.
Just had a quick look at teams in our league and we're bang average really. A couple are a £ or two cheeper and a few more expensive. Also loads use ticketmaster but have to pay a £2 service fee as opposed to the £1 we pay.
This is Chippenham Town's ground. Mad comparison
Ah ok, I thought you were implying we should be competitive with those sort of prices.Yeah that's my point. £18 looks at City good to me. As I said everyone's budget is different but was a bit shocked to pay £12 at Chippenham. Price of football.

Ashdown - I get your point but I don't pay to watch Rochdale - I pay to watch Coventry City.Even Cov rugby only managed a 2003 attendance last Saturday. Godiva festival may have had a say and the two teams playing simultaneously. .......and yes it's quite expensive to ask people to stump up £25 on the gate to watch the likes of Rochdale.

It will be purely results. A few wins and it will start creeping up again in my opinion.
Sharp - very funny!Last post I would guess before another Dr Who style regeneration takes place
The youngsters thing is a bit of a myth.
Any CCFC fan who lets their kid stroll in the house with a Liverpool (Insert other Premier League team here) shirt on and pretend he supports them because he sees them play on Sky needs to have a word with themselves. So much of it is down to the parents too when it comes to a kid supporting a team.
I grew up in Leamington and theres always been a big support for Liverpool, Man U etc even when we were in PL. I was one of only 2 other City supporters in my year at school and one of perhaps 6 in entire school that I was aware of. Used to drive my crazy when there's a PL club on the door step.
As for not having the glitz of the PL, I remain convinced that once a kid goes to his first game at the City the connection to the club is made irrespective of league. I've taken my 7 year old son to some pretty crap games where we've lost and he's still enjoyed it. Just need more families through the door (which I appreciate is not cheap).
