Atmosphere V Derby (14 Viewers)

I think the atmosphere at the Derby match was terrific and will be hard to match for the rest of the season. I can’t imagine Sheffield Wednesday fans or Portsmouth will add much, and it will be all over by Wrexham.
If we are promoted or become champions during a home match, of course that would be a bonus, but I can’t see it happening.

Was ushered out of the concourse at gone 11pm. Was brilliant in there after the match, the lad and his guitar did a great job of keeping the party going.

You could hear the concourse in the background on Sky after the game

Commentators on Sky were going on about "He thinks there must be a party going on in there"🤣🤣

It went quiet for the last 10 mins of the first half. Otherwise, good effort. Derby fans, bunch of pricks waiting for the first quiet moment (35 mins in!) to wheel out Football in a Library. Get in the sea.

My favourite memory of twist and shout was away against Peterborough. Jon Stead scored only goal and away end was rocking.
I was at that game on the old terraced away end, I am pretty sure it looked like (albeit for only a few weeks) that it looked possible we could have made a run at the play-offs season before we completely fell to bits to the point Coleman got sacked

I think Sheffield Wednesday should have a good following, there's a video going round of their game at Stoke where they're singing non-stop despite Stoke scoring halfway through the clip.

If anyone was at the 3-0 Cup defeat away at Watford it was the best/longest rendition of Twist and Shout of all time!

Derby were loud but their repertoire of songs were crap.

- All gone quiet over there
- football in a library
- where were you when you were shit

🥱
I asked my daughter what minute we'd first get where were you when you were shit? I went 2, she said 4.

It was 28 seconds ffs

Also immediately followed the attendance announcement.

Yeah we get it. I'm really happy for all the new fans, entertainment is a choice and not everyone is an idiot like me to be taken advantage of. I wear St Andrews and L2 as a badge of honour. I accept going down the leagues as testing and character building, but it's like all other fans have forgotten how bad it got for us with our ownership, L2 and playing in a different city.

Would love to know how their support would be. Every week now and really irritates me. Especially away as we've sold out loads of ends for years now. When we made play offs in L2, thst was our first top 6 finish for nearly 50 years.
