I have it on good authority Armstrong is staying until the end of the season. McClaren suggested he moved into the Championship but he likes it here, is settled and has urged McClaren to allow him to stay. McClaren has agreed.

To be fair edgy, you have a strong like : post ratio so I'm happy with that. Treat yourself to another like to push up that average.

Hope so. That'll be a big big boost to our promotion chances.

I've also heard similar from someone who would know certain things, nothing is certain but I'd say it's more likely he stays than goes. Newcastle are very happy with how he's doing here and he's very happy to be here. He also has a very good relationship with Mowbray.

Just said that your gif game is strong and you've again come up trumps.

Your honour, I rest my case

And just to add Hill83, I tried to add a gif on another thread and have failed miserably. I therefore talk b*llocks as well as having a poor gif game!

I've got a ratio around 2:1, but mainly because I call Grendel a dicksplash loads. People bloody love that.

Problem is how long McClaren stays in charge. He is looking likely to get the boot therefore all players tend to get called back for the new guy to run the rule over. If he stays then I think we will have Arma for the season.

This +1

Next games for Newcastle:

Liverpool (h)
Spurs (a)
Vile (h)

The way they played on Saturday I am not sure that McLaren is going to make it to the Villa game let alone long enough to extend the deal... heres hoping it gets done in advance and without a recall clause!

That is a risk, just hope the extension is signed, sealed & delivered before he gets the heave-ho.

1 in 6 like to post ratio...I think...oh well, better than Kevin Kyle's scoring record.

Great potential news on Arma btw, get in. PUSB.

Unless Newcastle make a miraculous recovery, McLaren is certain to be sacked and Armstrong will go back, at least temporarily. Getting lots of likes just means you are saying what people want to hear; it doesn't mean what you are saying makes any sense.

The thought of Arma and Murphy staying and Maddison replacing Kent if he goes, is still a sweet one!!
