Dont know how true it is but he booked on that coach because he knew the other bloke was on it and he had a problem with him.
Why not just have it out in the carpark before hand like men, then put it to rest.

If that's correct, then the fact he brought his son with him is astonishing. I really can't get my head round it.

It's bizarre that you're being rounded on here. All you seem to be doing is suggesting there is no connection between this mad isolated incident and scenes where groups of City fans run across the A444 to bash Blackburn fans on the head. Not sure where the controversy is.

Often the case when people don't read the initial thread. Ah well!

Its a ridiculous thing, most excuses are “I need it for self defence”, its a load of bollocks anyone carrying a knife obviously has/had bad intentions in order to have brought it unless they brought it for another reason such as eating but then there would be a fork as well, but still the possession of a fork’n knife is just not needed

If he has and it comes out as it’s been described above I reckon he could be eating porridge for a few months and social services might be interested too,

On a different note we had tickets in the home seats next to the away end at Fulham. Because we jumped up for the first two goals stewards came down and said you shouldn’t be in here if you promise not to jump up again you can stay. I said there’s no way I can do that the supervisor laughed and said do you want to go in the away end we all said yes and they escorted us to some seats. She said this happens at a lot of games and that we weren’t the only ones they had moved and that of all the clubs coventry fans were by far the politest and thanked us. Yes we have some dickheads but all clubs do.

After the play-off final win i overheard a local in the street saying how nice and polite our fans are. Don’t think we’re any worse than others.

Strange experience being in the same concourse as the home fans on Sunday, but think it proves most fans just want to watch the game and not start a riot.

Saying that, not sure if the same set up would work in Birmingham or Sheffield haha

I've heard a few sets of supporters say nothing but good things about us. There does seem to be a growing element though intent on using Saturday football as an excuse to do drugs and posture to visiting away fans about how hard they are - without actually doing anything about it. I tend to agree that we're not any worse than others - you only have to see some of the posts on FB about away fans across the country to realise that the majority of clubs (if not all), have the same issues and it seems to be increasing.

Back to that fella on the coach who put a knife in his sons backpack - what a fucking bellend. I repeat from other threads - WTF is wrong with people? Another who doesn't deserve to have kids. Prick.

Has anyone considered the son was in fact the knifeman and that the father purely took the hit and potential jail to protect his son?

The facts are, it was on his sons bag.

More to this than meets the eye imo.

The fella didnt know His son? This gets worse!

In all seriousness this is worse . If he'd found out someone who he had a beef with and was perhaps scared of was on the bus it would still be wrong I so many ways but at least there'd be some semblance of a reason, to bring it on just for the sake of carrying one when you're with a child, deserves everything coning his way.

Definitely worse. Every home match there seems to be trouble around the stadium and roads leading out of Arena Park.

The twats we were surrounded by at Derby was a real eye opener too and shows its not just away fans or those turning up "to make us look bad".

We have some real fucking idiots getting tickets for away matches.
