I've had away fans sit next to me in the past. I don't mind it as long as they don't celebrate too wildly. Nowt worse than having your nose rubbed in it at your own ground.

Very true.

There's nowt better than rubbing their noses in it at their own ground........as long as you get out in one piece.

Remember once when we played Arsenal (think it was a drwa in the end) at HR, and 3 lads in front of me jumped up when they scored, much to the irritation of one of our lot in front of them. One gooner then pulled out a half full pint (or was it half empty) and threw it over the Cov fan. Chaos ensued and two of them legged it leaving their mate to face the music on his own (he was actualy ok - the other two were dicks). Needless to say he cacked his pants and had to be escorted from the premises for his own safety! I actually felt a bit sorry for him.

I remember games at HR when we played Liverpool and Manure where there were red tops all over.....and half of them seemed to come from Coventry and the surrounding areas :jerkit:

Remember the Villa last game when Cyrille scored within a couple of minutes. I was in the Holt End with about 200 City. I think Notts County kept us up that year!! Most unadvisable based on my personal experiences....

I was there ( in the away end). Didn't a couple of Cov fansget really badly beaten up? Notts beat Luton 2-1 I think to keep us up. Premier league started the following season

We took over Vile Park that day, i was in the family stand above the away end. There was more cov in there than Vile and loads on the Holte end too. I remember about 100 city fans on the pitch still running from holte end to the away end when Cyrille scored. Big thanks to Notts that day.

I was in the upper tier of the trinity the day we went down. That was unpleasant to say the least. It wasn't very hard keeping quiet as we went 2 up.
