But he is the most energetic of the trio in getting forward and back so it's hardly surprising he tires the most. He also seems to be the biggest goal threat IMO (possibly more so than Bayliss because he's not afraid to have a pop when around the area). I think of all of them Westbrooke needs to offer a bit more because he can drift out of games when he's not in possession but I expect Allen will take his place when fit.

Yes, Westbrooke doesn’t really offer much for me and Allen will hopefully take games by the scruff of neck.

I have so far been delighted by our form this season
I actually think that playing at Birmingham will help us as their pitch is so much better for playing good passing football

Finally, Shipley is getting the credit he deserves. Playing in his favoured position now too. Go on Shipperz!

We are playing well right now and the signs are looking good for the season ahead - I’m confident we will finish top 6 and maybe even in the top 3.
Only thing I can say I would like to see is a return or a solid plan to return to Coventry - that would be the icing on the cake for me.

Playing it around at the back is a great way to tire out the opposition, as well as hopefully pulling people out of position. The key is having players that can do it well, and the signs so far are quite positive on that front, aberrations at Pompey aside.
