My Mum used to do this and there was a kid with the same First name and Surname as me in the obituary list he was only a year older then me , caused a bit of confusion for a few at work when I rocked up after me holidays

Similar thing with me Daz. I was knocked off my motorbike many years ago in a hit and run. I was only slightly injured, but it made the "late news" slot in the CET. No details were given except to say I'd been in a motorbike accident. A few days later, I went into the Tally Ho pub, downstairs to the Cellar bar. A load of my mates were in there having a drink to my memory! A couple actually thought I was a ghost!
