It’s a merger with a phoenix club though. They were out of business for 4 seasons. Longer than Wasps

I know a lot of heartache between the two group of fans behind the two entities. Thankfully agreement reached . Bury had a terrible owner that led to their demise.

Bury's attttendances are seemingly higher than being in League and interest is definately higher in the community.
I went to big local derby last season against Ramsbottom.

No I am pretty sure our ticket office was based at The Butts until Lockdown

By the time they were obviously required again we’d moved back home

Seems like it was only yesterday.
Awful owners, 'leading' us to our lowest point - they were lucky to get Robins back, and for him (and Adi) to then perform miracles.
Good riddance to bad rubbish.
Amazing that we're now doing so well, and we own our stadium...a notion we could never have dreamed of back then.

Before the ticket office in the butts bar, it was at some office block around Foleshill area. Remember waiting in the corridor for tickets

Madness, feels like a completely different time.

Those were the days when going to game was an absolute chore and it was purely out of routine. Zero or toxic atmosphere, shit concourse with about 50 people in it. Horrendous players, who at times clearly don’t want to be there.

Robins completely transformed the club.

And now Lampard will finish the job.

Absolutely different world.

Club is lucky I forget to turn off my iFollow annual subscription every year, so I wake up to a nice "fuck you JohnWH" out the blue once a year. No I don't check emails.

I think the most soul destroying memory was the ‘SISU’ are launching another court case headlines. Lost years , appalling times, most football fans thankfully have never had to endure but should give all Sky Blues a perspective.

An absolute car crash of a season from minute one...

Mowbray's pissing around in the summer set the tone

Slade's appointment was an absolute disaster and if we hadn't have bothered with it. or even after a few weeks realised he was in way above his head and got Robins back we may well have stayed up

Venus was probably the most dislikeable man I have ever seen in our dugout

Some of the worst players I have ever seen pull on our shirt (Which that season also happened to be our worst ever shirt!!)

The most toxic I have ever seen CCFC, even more so than when we were at Sixfields in my opinion

At least the Checkatrade provided some light relief, but even with that in consideration I cannot look back on that era with much fondness whatsoever

Thank god for Mark Robins, when the emotion of his sacking has subsided and he has left Stoke, I sincerely hope he is invited back to unveil the Mark Robins Lounge at the stadium we now finally own, he stopped the rot when we had genuinely no hope and built everything we are enjoying today - Forever grateful

He deserves a Statue, he didnt just rebuild our club, he rebuilt our city rejuvenated life back into it and the football, gave us all hope. Honestly that man should get free pints anywhere he goes within or near a CV postcode. If it wasnt for Mark, I dread to think what would have happened to our football club would it even be alive anymore? Anyways in the spirit of growth over a decade Leicester have gone from defending PL champions to below us in the Championship and with a Pt deduction looming potential relegation candidates whilst we have gone from doomed to almost the top, a proper rebirth, the phoenix risen from the ashes spear headed by Robins, but torch passed to Frank to light the fire. May the future always be Sky Blue and let the good times Roll, PUSB!
