Talk of a points/honour system are absurd, you cant say something is a confusing shambles and then propose introducing a 19 tier loyalty system.

We are a club scraping around at the bottom of league 1 with the lowest attendances we've had in decades yet people think we should have a reward system on the complete fluke that we get to Wembley for the first time in 30 years.

I quite often see good ideas on this forum but that's just ridiculous. The priority levels have been set and communicated clearly, you may not think its fair but one thing it certainly isn't is confusing.
I agree, the new priorities aren't confusing. And nor were the original (different) ones.

You do know that we are just about the only team NOT to have been to Wembley in the last 30 years, and that every season there are realistic Wembley places up for grabs in all the Divisions? It doesn't take a fluke, just a good season. The fact we don't tend do those is irrelevant.

You think this has been a good season? Wow.

Its been a complete fluke, we have got to Wembley by beating a team of under 21s on penalties. We've beaten one L1 team in the whole competition, 3 u21s and 2 league 2 teams, this has been the flukiest Wembley place any team has ever "earned".

It's the people that haven't been to a game all season but bought a half season ticket with 5 other people the day before Wembley tickets went on sale to get priority that I can't stand.

Season Tickets are the only true way of really showing support for the Club. They are pretty much the only guaranteed income stream for this blighted team. Much more so than going to a few away games as this adds nothing to the club coffers. People who took out the installment option are STILL paying monthly for it . Some commitment when bottom of the league. Perhaps if another 5000 people had bought a season ticket (rather than pretend it was some sort of noble protest at the owners) we might have been at the other end of the league.

However, 6 tickets is ridiculous, enabling ST holders to take friends and family who never go normally for a nice day out. A lot of good people will miss out.

And yet they just gave extra money to the club even if they don't turn up to these games, and that gets moaned at? (Not saying it's you moaning but I've seen quite a few who have about it).

F'kin hell.

6 tickets was ridiculous anyway, but not keeping these half season tickets on sale is even more ridiculous by the club, it really is tragic the way they use their brains. Extra money is better for the budget so everyone keeps saying, any chance to increase that budget should surely not be missed?

Nah, I did exactly the above. I can use the fact I've given money to the club to defend myself now though, as for me, that's a good thing.

It might be now, after Wembley the people moaning about not being able to get tickets will be calling you a SISU supporter and how you give money to Joy etc etc etc.

Yes, the same ones clambering for tickets.

Any idea how many been sold? I still need 9 tickets and waiting for general sale...

Although I can get my ticket anytime I like, my family wants us all together for this one and not scattered around (or at least not too much anyway).

Er, I didn't say that. I said that every year, any team that has a good season has a fair chance of getting to Wembley. We've even managed to do it despite having our customary shit season.

I found a way to unlike your prevous post :)
Surely you've been to plenty of games this season??*

* Edit: I forgot, that doesn't count for anything. And they deflated your semi if I can put it that way.

Anyway, back to your original point, there is absolutely no need for our club to have an reward/loyalty scheme, if you think it does you are absolutely clueless.

Nope. I was totally done with it. But I'm not missing Wembley. Total hypocrite but don't care. At least I wasn't a NOPM'er, I just didn't want to go.

If it helps I'm getting a season ticket next season.

It does show what a shambles the ticket priorities have been though. All it needed was £29 and 5 mates.

18K sold when they opened up the third tier, of which only 4 blocks are on sale, so can't much more than around 20K in total.

Getting to Wembley wasn't a fluke. We were unbeaten in all games and scored a hat full of goals into the bargain. We deserve to be there. No fluke.

At least you're honest, its the high horse bullshit that annoys me.

Wish I had 5 mates too.

Exactly.

He is missing a trick here, he should have been saying it was because of his principles, morals and how he was brought up properly etc etc as the reason he didn't go. We could all laugh at him then for going back on it.

Am I allowed a high horse for being honest though please? I want one.

I'm expecting everyone who wants a ticket to get one anyway so I'll have wasted £29, well £34 as it was actually 4 friends, 1 of which I don't know so 3 friends. :(

not once heard you saying others shouldn't go or that it's immoral to go. You always said you couldn't be arsed. I've got no problem with that.
It's the moralising fuckers now on the hunt for tickets that are boiling peoples piss.

Yeah, there's a few. One in particular ysed to have a go at me for having no morals and lining SISUs pockets. I can't tolerate hypocrisy.

Er no, my exact words were "every year, any team that has a good season has a fair chance of getting to Wembley". And it's true.

But you're right, the club doesn't need to find ways of rewarding loyalty. We're doing just fine with an ever-increasing fan base and an excellent system of distributing tickets to real fans if a big match comes along.

Yes, it’s a cup competition and we’ve fought our way to the final with some good performances. Got to milk it for all it’s worth and forget about the other stuff at least for the day. Someone on here once described winning the cup in 1987 as a fluke! Could not be further from the truth, that was an awesome team all season.

you didn't go swansea then. that was a fluke. we were awful that night

Maybe so but we equalised and never missed a penalty in the shoot-out. We got to Wembley because we deserved to. No fluke. Feel free to pick faults though.

Not saying we don't deserve to be at Wembley but we did beat a couple of development teams to get there not complaining though.

A football team is there to beat the opposition no matter who that opposition is.
