Well as the window slams shut for another summer, a dissappointing effort by all involved. A real opportunity to push on and really attack the league, but instead we took a total passive approach which in effect looks really disjointed and without much direction.

Nice to see I was proven right against all the nay-sayers again who were insistent on telling me we would have a flurry of business in the final week, only to sign 1 player. We sold our captain, for a fee that I agree we couldn't turn down, but failed to replace even with a cheap loan.

We did buy the stadium, which some people are using as cope. Bling must be commended for this, but there was no downside to buying the stadium really as it will only strengthen the value of his investment. Purchasing players who are much more likely to depreciate in value was too far for him though.

The lampard effect and his contacts in football non existant.

We are desperately short in the wide forward area, and back up CM's. Those players we had earmarked as those to upgrade have actually become crucial to us as backup now which is worrisome.

After hoarding a whole load of reactions and boosting my post to reaction score, I will now be taking some time off here for a few weeks it was good to engage with you lunatics again.

I am off to play football now, I'd imagine Bling may try and sign me as CM cover.

It was nice to get another decent right back, a keeper and a Binks upgrade. But the rest of the squad looks painfully short, especially now we have sold Sheaf.

In a nutshell………Either King is keeping us waiting just to piss off the old ITK’s or he’s sold our captain (and yes weakened the team in a day) but still made it stronger overall. Including non sales.
