Yeh defo just waiting for the dominos to fall on that one. The fact the bid wasn't reported as rejected but is just lingering there like a bad smell says it all really.Fulham in talks to sign 2 wingers, so Godo will join us before the deadline I’m sure
Yep, i'd go with the experienced player from Ipswich who did well for them over the younger player who failed at Southampton.QPR are a mid to lower level Championship team in fairness. I know there's this thing about not listening to football fans but there is a big disparity between what i'm reading on both (Southampton and Ipswich being a similar level.) I'm just not sure what people base preferences on other than vibes at times. Edwards being one of those trendy Peterborough bunch.. personally think we were smart and got the best of them in the form of EMC.
Watched him at posh and for the England U20s. Personally wouldn’t mind either just want a CB before MondayYep, i'd go with the experienced player from Ipswich who did well for them over the younger player who failed at Southampton.
You are right, he is trendy but how many people here have actually watched much of Edwards play?
I’ve only seen him play a few times. Ball playing centre back, very calm in the ball, but lacks the stature to dominate in the air or the pace to cover. I can see why QPR played him CDM.Yep, i'd go with the experienced player from Ipswich who did well for them over the younger player who failed at Southampton.

Don't get me wrong, he could come good after Southampton but I'm not seeing much evidence as to why he became a bit of a forum favourite. Looks like unfulfilled potential atm whereas Woolfenden has actual achievements under his belt and is well liked by his current fanbase.Yep, i'd go with the experienced player from Ipswich who did well for them over the younger player who failed at Southampton.

Tbf I think Woolf is a better player right now at leas. Just think Edward’s could be a good back up for the future if we can’t get Wolf in due to cost.Don't get me wrong, he could come good after Southampton but I'm not seeing much evidence as to why he became a bit of a forum favourite. They were after some South American geezer but I'm not sure where that I at.Tbf I think Woolf is a better player right now at leas. Just think Edward’s could be a good back up for the future if we can’t get Wolf in due to cost.
Any news on Ipswich bringing in a CB?
ChilwellWoolfenden, Godo (and Chilwell) and keep MvE would be a pretty good week. If we lose MvE I hope it’s to bring in someone a bit special elsewhere.
…ChilwellNFC
I’m choosing to believe Chilwell as my moderate dose of pre season madness.
Just had a search, some reporting hes on the verge of signing for them. Hopefully means Woolf comes hereThey were after some South American geezer but I'm not sure where that I at.
MacAnthony is great at marketing his players, although somewhat shit the bed this time around with most the rated ones walking for free.it's just a trendy name to say
fair play to him if he makes a good go of it at qpr but the fact it looks like he's being shifted on so soon and qpr is the best of his offers says a lot
Two different standards though really. We've seen how atrocious QPR are defensively, of course any half decent defender would improve them.QPR fans loved him last year.
Got to be mad to think we are even entertaining the idea of asking to loan him
Honestly think the dominos that are Godo and Woolf will drop, although obviously you can't be sure until done.Just had a search, some reporting hes on the verge of signing for them. Hopefully means Woolf comes here
Me as well, at least GodoHonestly think the dominos that are Godo and Woolf will drop, although obviously you can't be sure until done.
I'm not sure Brau is going to be much better defensively than Dasilva from what we've seen so far. Positionally he looks poor and undisciplined.
Not much to go off and very early days, so may well be wrong, but he has a bit to learn before he's able to start IMO.
I've actually seen Silva say he's ready to give him his chance, although that could also mean, please buy me a new wingerMe as well, at least Godo
I'm pretty sure he played in a back 4 at the CBS last season. He looked OK. Nothing special but nothing disastrous either.Yep, i'd go with the experienced player from Ipswich who did well for them over the younger player who failed at Southampton.

probably slightly better defensively but as said seems a little undersized and not very quick - great on the ball thoughIs Edwards any better than Binks was?
Got to be mad to think we are even entertaining the idea of asking to loan himwe can’t afford 20% of his wages! I am sure Chelsea have some sort of soft spot for Frank but to lend him to us and they pay the majority of his weekly wage is not the best bit of business, is it?
If it was out in the footballing world that Chelsea were looking to offload him in some way, I am sure a lot of prem clubs would show interest along with some parachute champ clubs.
Good signing for West Brom.Mepham joining West Brom may enable Taylor to join Cov
One of my mates is a WBA fan and he's always been a touch arrogant, funnily enough the one time he'd started to get a bit humbled and not fancy them, i actually think they have the best team they've had for a whileMephams a fantastic signing
Fellows and his family are baggies through and through …he is in no rush to leaveOne of my mates is a WBA fan and he's always been a touch arrogant, funnily enough the one time he'd started to get a bit humbled and not fancy them, i actually think they have the best team they've had for a while
Not sure what's going on with Fellows though, i was under the impression the club still needed to sell to balance the books so not sure how they are doing this business.
He wouldn’t get In ahead of Kitch or ThomasGood signing for West Brom.
