That was my feeling. As we know ourselves when a player is determined to leave for the top flight the best you can do is negotiate hard.

It's a tough situation to be in. I still think a PL club would need to meet their valuation, but realistically they'd hardly struggle if they were keen to land him.

A club like West Ham really need new faces in as their start has been horrendous, but fans will think it's a joke to be buying from the championship. They will want a know foreign player that costs about 40-50 million. Maybe a Burnley could go for him but he would know he would possibly wind up in the championship next season.

That's why Rudoni, if true, is smart to stay with us for another year, learning from a master, and if we go up he can get the premiership experience. On top of that, if we miss out he could possibly go to a midtable premiership club with recommendation from FL. On another topic, did Rudoni ever get the go ahead to play for the USA? Man he could be a star turn for them and when he wants retirement could earn big bucks.
