Rushworth is a good example of "be careful what you wish for" 50 Championship games to his name and it shows, to be frank! His season with Swansea two years ago gave only 10 clean sheets and he looks rusty having had little game time last year. He may well improve but he isn't what we need just now but no doubt he'll be picked ahead of Wilson (at least for a while) thanks to the terms of the loan agreement.

Sounds right. Swansea fans give him player of the season and you then decide he is shit.

On for 25 clean sheets in 50 games for us. Good going.

Would still like a CB and a forward for anywhere along the front line in this week.

Then focus the last week or so trying to clear out some of the dead wood.
I'm thinking it's actually going be a left sided forward/winger. Regardless of what a lot of us think, it doesn't seem Haji will be playing on the left any time soon. Rapha and BTA can both cover the right to some extent but we're actually very light on the left. Of course someone who could play either side would be ideal.
Also think he'd like another striker but probably depends on both Bassette and Simms going and not sure I see that happening.

This Hughes guy at Hull, he is not dominant as some people suggest and i would rather keep Thomas over him any day. The more we get into it I'm finding most championship clubs have rather poor defences this season and one of the reasons is this stupid system of playing from the back and getting in a tangle. Why is it the premier teams play this way effectively but then every coach in the country want to play the same way even though their players just can't do it.

Played two.

First game-clean sheet.

Second game-thunderbolt out of the blue free kick and a penalty.

Yep, he's no better than Wilson or Collins.

Words fail me SH.

First game: didn’t have anything to do
2nd game: you wouldn’t be defending Collins if he’d have let that free kick in. He got lobbed on his line

Did make a good save though from that long ranger, and I like that he comes out in corners

The squad is very close to being very good and a squad that should be challenging at the top end all season. If we can move on Norn and Collins, then set up loans for Obikwu we can bring 2 in. 1 CB and 1 attacking option, if all the rest are kept the competition within the squad will be a nice problem for FL to pick a game day squad.

This is what he wants tough decisions and nice problems.

Let's give him than iffy at crosses game before we write him off yeah

He'll also play ahead of Wilson as he is a far better keeper

He rivals that "downunder" fella for cluelessness.
