We should not be strengthening a promotion rival at any cost if we’re serious about wanting promotion ourselves.
That’s not the real world though is it ….

I don’t suppose Villa wanted to sell Ramsey to Newcastle or Palace Eze to Spurs but you have to sell where the market is not where you wish it were.

Is anyone leaving? 😂

In all seriousness, interest in MVE not there anymore, Rudoni doesn’t want to move and not sure where the Thomas one will go.

Will everyone be happy if we keep things as they are and we get a bit more CB cover and potentially Bassette goes and something different in attack?
Still need another right wing option, ideally someone that can cover both, oh and play a 10.

Do think we need cover at the 10 position more than any other attacking position. BTA & Raphael can play right. Wright can play left. Only really have Torp who can cover the 10 adequately, but like him more as an 8. If we could get someone who could cover the 10 plus either wing it would be ideal.

I would imagine Blades will be paying through the nose for anything now. Everyone can smell their desperation. Robinson and Bindon on loan are their only CB’s.

Propping up the table, possibility of loosing Gus, couldn’t happen to a nicer team and fan base.

I dont like him but I am puzzled why they sacked the odious Wilder. There is a long way to go but after losing a playoff final stability is key and the board have gambled! Time will tell of that was a sensible calculation.

Once the club had doubts over Robins then I would expect them to have been sounding out target managers …. It’s called succession planning !

You don’t wait until the manager leaves to do that.
Didnt King claim exactly that he didn’t do that ??

Yes but it was not remotely convincing
I just remember thinking it all sounded very odd and that whilst I heard his words I thought he had been naive in the extreme to sack a mgr and not have even thought about a replacement, I was obviously hopelessly naive 🤦‍♂️

Well he cant get in ahead of Da silva, thats why I asked “ is he not good enough ? I swear some people on here don’t actually read what they reply to,

But you didn't say "Is he not good enough"

Think I was just reading the Leeds forum or whatever it is, trying to sign James Justin for £6M,so you never know, leaves them with 3 for the Spot.
Don't know how good or bad he is or if better or worse than MVE, but priced similarly.
Gnonto is a RW/ST not RB mate, so dont think them signing Justin impacts that deal!
