it's not his value on ability, it's the amount of money that it would take for us to write off this season£30-40 million is cloud cuckoo land, I’m sorry. Go and look at some of the other players who’ve moved for that kind of money this summer.
The only reason to keep him in light of a ridiculous bid is if you’re convinced that this is our season to go up. But if you think the current team is in such decrepit shape, why would you turn down silly money for a player that could help rebuild it?
