Next time you’re at CBS, and you hear the beep…2.5 weeks to spend £25m would be a disaster. It would be the footballing equivalent of a round of supermarket sweep
He’s a good player - but let’s be really honest about him - he was poor to average during the first chunk of last season. Played well when the whole team did during the run - and then didn’t do much in both play-off games (aside from his header in the first).he's as importrtant and he was 3 years left - they had 1
if we sell we would ask for more than we got for vik
even then i can't see us selling him now as kings not an idiot
Rudoni and Wright are our only ‘difference makers’ the 2 players who have the capability to grab a game and win it.
We had 2 of them in Hamer and Gyokeres and we reached the play off final, if he goes we lost any creativity we have through the middle.
Would be a disaster.
Honestly think we were banking on MVE going but he’s not wanted at the price point we need

So after tonights game , all Rudoni talk aside , how do we fell about the squad now ?
Personally thought both Raphael and Andrews showed enough to keep and play a part as the season progresses.
Jamie Allen for the zillionth time showed again just how useful he is to the squad and wouldn't be easily replaced .
For me a new Centre Back is a must
One out ,one in up front would be nice
And a couple of top attacking loanees would be my preference
After sleeping on it, I've decided I don't trust us to spend the Rudoni money wisely and not just make 4 Kitching-esque panic buys. So it's a no from me.
I think he was a panic buy in the sense that we got desperate and ended up paying an inflated fee for a player who isn't very good. And now we're looking to replace him.Do you think Kitching was a panic buy? I think he was one we were watching for a while and he’s generally been pretty good. Sure, there is room for improvement.

20 million has to be the minimum price, but it’ll set us back a full season as we’ll need to bring in 4 playersI think he was a panic buy in the sense that we got desperate and ended up paying an inflated fee for a player who isn't very good.
20 million would be taking the piss.20 million has to be the minimum price, but it’ll set us back a full season as we’ll need to bring in 4 players
like I said the season would be over
If we signed either Doyle or Charlie Hughes, it would be Kitching moving to the bench. So yes?Are we looking to replace him?!
Can only agree with this. I don’t understand how anybody can think any of this counts as a good transfer window.Need a striker, need a cb, best player is in talks to leave, a few weeks left of the window…..shambles

Hamer wasn’t replaced, we spunked a load of money on Kitching instead while signing a child on loan from Brighton. He still hasn’t really been replaced even now.It shows how different we are being ran if selling your best player 3 weeks before the end of the window is now suddenly the worst thing in the world.
We used to leave it until deadline day and not replace them. 3 weeks is plenty of time to find a replacement which is why the 'next couple days crucial' is key to the report. It's the model to sell and build we can still be successful this year without Rudoni.
how many assists? He’s a good player - but let’s be really honest about him - he was poor to average during the first chunk of last season. Played well when the whole team did during the run - and then didn’t do much in both play-off games (aside from his header in the first).
The PO games kind of summed him up to me - during actual open play, doesn’t do much to impact the game but he’s alright to pop up with a header or late run into the box. For a 10, he doesn’t work well enough between the lines or link the play between our CMs and the strikers anywhere near well enough. From open play he doesn’t create a lot and he’s not amazing at picking the ball up and driving with it.
It’s a key reason why a lot of us have been calling out for a different style of number 10 (someone like O’Hare) to come in rather than a new striker.
you thought brau was shit, you are either clueless or lying about watching the gameRudoni and Wright aren’t in the same galaxy as Vik and Gus as difference makers.
It was a reserve game. It means nothing lol.
fuck noWould people except Adam Armstrong as a make weight in this. I.e Adam Armstrong + 10m.
In the literal sense yes I would except him from any deal.Would people except Adam Armstrong as a make weight in this. I.e Adam Armstrong + 10m.
