If this happens I’m sorry it’s such a bad thing
Only way I’d accept it is if we were literally ready to go on 3 signings

Totally disagree. He had 21 goal contributions last season and dragged us to the playoffs himself with a bunch of carthorses playing infront him majority of the time.Rudoni is a level below what Gus and Gyok were to us btw and if we’re getting £15-20m for him it’s incredible business for a player who’s had about 6 months of good play with us and goal contribution stats padded out with corner assists.
if he doesn’t go I’d expect 2/3 signings that would take us to a new level
It’s ok, we’ve got left back Jake Bidwell and inexperienced kid Callum Perry to play thereexactly if we’re trying to better last season we can’t sell rudoni or MVE, we Can’t even replace binks ?
And we are no closer to promotion having spent that money.
he's as importrtant and he was 3 years left - they had 1Rudoni is a level below what Gus and Gyok were to us btw and if we’re getting £15-20m for him it’s incredible business for a player who’s had about 6 months of good play with us and goal contribution stats padded out with corner assists.

Why would we sign another left back ?It was hypothetical but we get £25m and spend £5m each on a CB, CM, LW, RW and LB then we improve the starting 11 massively
I definitely wouldn’t be happy watching BTA every week. The only way I’d be on board with selling Rudoni is if the squad gets improved in this window and we win games/reach the play offs. If that happens, the Rudoni sale gets forgotten about as part of the modelIt’s honestly ridiculous. They even said they’re happy to watch BTA every week because we have a few quid in the bank
Because we only have three of them! Why would we sign another left back ?
He wants to sign all those positions but not an actual AM to replace RudoniWhy would we sign another left back ?
we bid 7m for a cbexactly if we’re trying to better last season we can’t sell rudoni or MVE, we Can’t even replace binks ?
Because regardless of numbers, it’s still our weakest starting positionWhy would we sign another left back ?
Given how slow our business has been and the inability to suitably replace Hamer I don’t trust them to get it right tbhI definitely wouldn’t be happy watching BTA every week. Is it ? Both Brau and JdS are decent at our levelBecause regardless of numbers, it’s still our weakest starting position
Missed the part about saying a change in formation and not having a 10 would suit our current strike force? He wants to sign all those positions but not an actual AM to replace Rudoni
Because regardless of numbers, it’s still our weakest starting position
Brau who was rumoured to be signing even if we went upWe don't know how good Brau is yet
The squad is miles stronger than it was back then, surely you can see that? And we are no closer to promotion having spent that money.
True, basing on tonight, seems quite lightweight and very one footed but he has decent pace and got a good delivery. I was saying a £5m signing would improve that position, not that we should do it with the amount of options we haveWe don't know how good Brau is yet
They literally bought Rudoni with the money generated from the sales of Hamer and Gyokeres?Given how slow our business has been and the inability to suitably replace Hamer I don’t trust them to get it right tbh
Yes but we are still a playoff chasing teamThe squad is miles stronger than it was back then, surely you can see that?
Lightweight? Thought he was combative and loved a tackleTrue, basing on tonight, seems quite lightweight and very one footed but he has decent pace and got a good delivery. I was saying a £5m signing would improve that position, not that we should do it with the amount of options we have
It took three windows to strengthen the midfield. They also spunked a good wedge of it on Bassette, Simms and BTAThey literally bought Rudoni with the money generated from the sales of Hamer and Gyokeres?
Can we realistically be anything but that given the season on season parachute payments teams get for failing in the Premier LeagueYes but we are still a playoff chasing team
It doesn’t send out a message of us taking this season seriouslyCan we realistically be anything but that given the season on season parachute payments teams get for failing in the Premier League
The positive is I think the recruitment will be better under LampardIt took three windows to strengthen the midfield. They also spunked a good wedge of it on Bassette, Simms and BTA
How ?It doesn’t send out a message of us taking this season seriously
Come on mate, you know it doesn’tHow ?
Selling your best player to a rivalHow ?
It will be a massive kick in the bollocks but we move on and reinvestCome on mate, you know it doesn’t
I was impressed overall, looked solid defensively, he did get stuck in, lightweight was based on his physique, looks like he’d easily get muscled off the ball. I wasn’t saying we should sign a LB, I was saying it’s one of the starting positions that would improve in a hypothetical scenario that we spent £5m on oneLightweight? Thought he was combative and loved a tackle
Think we need to relax. In talks could be “here’s £10m”
“Fuck off - we want at least £25m”
unless Rudoni prompts it, he won’t be going anywhere
Just need to calm. I’m waiting until hopefully October when I have my unnecessary meltdown.relax? Have you seen this forum earlier today.
We'd have to sign at least one maybe two 10sWe can’t sell him and not have replacements in numerous positions literally in the building
If we signed 3 players of real quality you’d at least understand it but I don’t trust the recruitment team and the club to do this I’ve seen it too many times.
