A couple of weeks away from start of season now, so feels like we’d want to confirm outgoings and incomings soon surely? Would helps Lamps planning and a settled squad.
That's a great idea, have you thought about writing to Doug?

The squad seems very settled at the moment.

I still maintain our squad is fine and has depth in most areas . The keeper was the big one and anything now is a bonus and only players that will make us better. If I’m picky maybe an experienced CB and a big striker but that will depend on outgoings.

We are in a strong position with 10 days till the season starts and in August we only have 4 league games so plenty of time to get in a position where by September we are stronger.

If we are getting rid of Binks to bring in Bauer, can't say that's a good upgrade.

Although Liam Cooper ex Leeds skipper is a free agent. I'll say that's one I'll take.

Brøndby buys Luis Binks from Coventry City. The clubs have agreed a deal worth a total of three million euros, 22.5 million kroner, and the medical is today, Tuesday, so the English center-back, 23 years old, will move to the Danish top club soon.
If we've actually made a profit on Binks, we need to build a statue commemorating King and Austin

fantastic work from Doug - genuinely one of the worst signings we’ve made under his reign. Such awful positioning. Maybe Doyle is happening 👀

I've a lot of affection for Binksy. He seemed to really fall for the club. Sadly, as Kitching reestablished himself, every time he featured just seemed to lack confidence. Definitely for the best assuming we've got a good replacement lined up.

Yeah will do well there.

Frank spoke to Rushworth months ago before his move to us.

Frank maybe did speak to Doyle a while back in Pizza Express?

Wouldn’t shock me if our next signing is Callum Doyle.

Good deal for all parties. I think he's probably one of those which is much better suited abroad than he is to the Championship.

He was never going to push on here and clearly struggled.
Just said same, suited abroad.

issue with LB is lack of basics, nuts and bolts defending - passive, weak, lacks awareness, positioning. Can play football so shame those core skills lacking.

good luck to him, hopefully we replace with a 1st choice LCB.

On an Instagram post regarding Binks someone has mentioned Doyle speaking to Lampard.

Most likely a load of rubbish but maybe there is something very slight in it.
