We probably won't sign him anyway (and this is gonna sound weird), but the thing I like about this guy is his legs. He looks sturdy yet quick, they're like the right type of legs, moves well but also holds the ball up well, seems like he could take a bit of abuse and not get injured every 3rd game like some of our players. Good crosser too by the looks of it, get it done Doug

I've never seen Pye play but his stats are class. Nixon said Blackburn interested but Stockport want £3m.

Window still open for another month and the current squad is more than capable of getting us off to a good start with some favourable fixtures. I’m sure there’ll be 3 or 4 in and out before the end of August

The squad seems very settled at the moment.

I still maintain our squad is fine and has depth in most areas . The keeper was the big one and anything now is a bonus and only players that will make us better. If I’m picky maybe an experienced CB and a big striker but that will depend on outgoings.


We are in a strong position with 10 days till the season starts and in August we only have 4 league games so plenty of time to get in a position where by September we are stronger.

Brøndby buys Luis Binks from Coventry City. The clubs have agreed a deal worth a total of three million euros, 22.5 million kroner, and the medical is today, Tuesday, so the English center-back, 23 years old, will move to the Danish top club soon.
