In league one. At the time all their fans commented on how he was too inexperienced and the move came too soon for him.. ok
Sunderland signed an 18 year old with no appearances on loan.. Callum Doyle i think he was called

The summer so far has been really disappointing. The squad is all over the place:

- 2 horrifying keepers and 1 with a long term injury
- 2 high value right backs wasting funds
- 3 poor left backs with no solid first choice
- 4 centre halves that have contributed to below par defences across 2 seasons
- no right wing back up
- 3 strikers that are seemingly out of favour with the manager
- no back up 10

We really need to see some movement soon or we are going to see the same problems we have over the last 2 seasons.
I suspect MVE will be sold and we’ll strengthen across the squad. The keeper situation is a big worry despite what some like to claim.

It’s not surprising considering the stuff that was alleged at the time.

You’d like to hope so. Annoying it hasn’t been done already. Not going to be ideal if the MVE saga drags well into August. Assuming that is what Doug is waiting for of course.

The keeper situation is scary. We simply aren’t going to have 4 keepers so one is gonna have to go… but where. Replace the word keeper for left back and the same issues apply.

Literally watched the first 30 seconds and he looks similar to Grimes.

Whats the point signing him on loan. I'd only be looking at him as a long term Grimes replacement on a permenant.
Man City letting 5 players go (sale or loan), Oscar Bobb anyone 😂 waiting for headlines to go into overdrive

Contract expires 2026 according to transfermarkt so maybe that’s the plan. Maybe played under Joe Edwards in the Chelsea youth teams.

Scouted Ftbl also did a deep dive into finding the best under-the-radar U23 strikers in Europe that is interesting reading.

Some names that get a mention:
- Kvistgaarden - just signed for Norwich
- Damion Downs - just joined Southampton for £7m
- A bunch of players out of our price range
- And Richard Kone, who the writer raves about
