shocked he's only 31, plus boosh will be delighted at the chance of 1 of little mix turning up to games

Thought the same, seems to have been around forever. He's been super hampered by injuries, not sure the Championship would be the best place for him.

Tbf though, we're halfway through July now.

First game in 3.5 weeks and well into pre season

Youd imagine we would want the crux of our business done by now no?
Wouldnt any team want their business done early? Its not that simple though is it. If we dont intend on signing many more and we already added 2 then you could argue we already have done a lot.

Maybe it is. Do we even need much more without blowing the whole budget. I would even suggest we need to strip a couple before we bring any more in.

i am not overally worried at the moment regarding transfers or should i say the lack of, but doubt is starting to creep in,

a few weeks away from the start of another campaign, a season i believe we must go for it, Automatic , sod the lottery of the playoff's

but with our current squad, do we have the player's to mount such a challenge, not at the mo we don't for me. top ten with a outside

chance of playoff's only if we can get our lazy strike force to start firing, so come on Doug get spending

As it stands we are up 2 full backs and have lost bugger all of worth. If you added a keeper and everything stayed as is i think i'd still fancy us for a top 6. I'm not saying that's what i want to happen or that's what i think will happen as its not, but its not panic stations yet. Hopefully we can shift on 2 or 3 pieces of dead wood and bring in 2 or 3 pieces of quality to kick us on a level.

Exactly. How many teams have all their business done in the middle of July

Birmingham City at this rate and Norwich have been doing a bit but i can't say i've noticed anyone else really doing much unless i've missed something?
I can't imagine Brum wont make signings in August, and Norwich will want to spend the money theyve made from their significant sales.

We finished 5th with these "lazy" strikers and an awful start to the season

We are far better than "top 10"

By now I would have expected us to have signed a couple of non-league / young foreign prospects for the development squad. Sam McCallum - type punts that aren’t dependent on Gyok money. It’s a bit quiet on that front.

Kyle Hudlin type punts?
Yep.

For every 10 ,50k (say) Dexter Walters / Kyle Hudlin / Reise Allisani / Hillsner type gamble there’s a rare Sam McCallum. Or, a Stuart Pearce or Cyrille Regis (Hayes - WBA).

Having a flutter on a long shot that everyone writes off sometimes pays off.

WRT Hudlin, he did end up playing against us in the Championship but I have no problem admitting it was a bad shout in the end.
