Goalkeeper is a priority due to Dovin injury.

We’ve already signed a left back. One of the current lot has to exit.

We know there’s a high chance MVE goes and that means x2 required in that position.

We need a top class CB in my opinion.

We need an attacker like that Italian dude we’ve been linked to.

Some strikers will be on the way out. Need to replenish.

Raid Chelsea by maximising the 4 loans from one club rule…

Mike Penders on Loan
Alfie Gilchrist permanent deal
Marc Guiu on Loan
Tyrique George on Loan
Omari Kellyman on Loan

Piss the league. Summer done

George is firmly in their first team squad now and Gilchrist was struggling for time 2nd half of last season and Sheffield United played a midfielder in his position.

If we move on Sheaf and Allen then Travis would be a good replacement.

Considering our depth of squad has been a weakness two seasons running I don't see replacing two with one as progress. Allen will bring in very little money. He is a good squad player, a model professional and an example to younger players. He gives us valuable continuity. I can see him staying.

What if we get a great fee for him and can sign 2/3 players to replace him and strengthen other areas?
sounds like we were saying now to 10m in January but yeah around 15m and then 5m on KHH would give us good replacement and an extra 10m

I'd keep Allen, covers a few roles to a decent enough standard and as you say will not be on loads for this level. FL also says the way he trains means he can come back in after an extended time out the XI and hit the ground running.

What do you consider a great fee?
Enough to replace him and get a couple of other players. Nobody wants him to leave but the reality is this is the best time to sell him for maximum value. Leave it a year and he is into the last 12 months of his contract and theres no chance of getting north of 10million.

If they intended to move him on they wouldn't have triggered the extension in my opinion. They would have just let him find a new club.

Has 2 years left. They could always just wait and hold us to ransom in 12 months i guess.
we could take 12+ million now or we could have the best rb in the league and have another real go at promotion at the risk of selling him for half of that next year it’s a difficult choice, glad i’m not the one making it

Some people doubting the fee, he would be going to a mid table premier league club if it is fulham and you don’t get mid table premier league players for much less than 15 million these days

Given your contract length question he now has 6 months less than that alleged bid so is therefore worth less
Nah, we are not a position where we have to sell players and there are rumoured to be more suiters this summer.
