I said Galatasaray would be a good move for MvE, same for Wright i think. Can't see a Prem team going for him really but he'd do well there. Hell of a downgrade from Osimhen, but still well.

Not afraid so splash the cash in Turkey so you would like to think we would make a profit & we would avoid playing against him next year when we are in the PL. If it's true he want's out and his agent is trying to drum up interest I think it makes sense for all parties.

Logically speaking, Gimoc said his family didn’t like it here too much if not wrong, Jimmy said he didn’t know if his heart was in it and if you were looking to get back form for the World Cup, going back to a league where you did well and your family like would make a lot of sense.

Not sure any team in Turkey will pay the money we want though?

Realistically, you’d want at least £12m back, if not more.
Only Fenerbache and Galatasary have ever spent eight figure sums on a player. The all time record transfer into the Super Liga was about £16 million, set last season by Fenerbache.

Only gala and fenerbache pay anything close to what we should take.

Again 20/25 million or fuck off, not a penny less for our biggest attacking threat

My gut says £12m for Haji and £8m for Milan is what we get. Maybe plus add ons.

good job your gut is likely wrong.

People saying we wont get more than we bought Haji for too is hilarious

He’s obviously worth more than he came for, but which teams would buy him? I can’t see a PL team taking a chance at his age and that pretty much knocks a third off his potential IMO.

I didn't say we won't get more; I said we won't get much more. He's a motivation player who rarely seems motivated and any scout is going to pick up on that. I'd take £12m plus add-ons, for £15m I'd be jumping for joy

I wouldnt even consider anything less than £15m, and even then thats hard pressed.
You genuinely dont think we can spend £15 million on better?

He's had moments of excellence, sure, but nowhere near consistent enough to not rip someones hand off for £15m.
We can pick up a striker who will be as good for £10m and have £5m for other additions. Absolute no-brainer IMO.

Who? Give me a name on who we could get for £10m who would be guaranteed better.

My European player knowledge isn't good enough to give you names, but I refuse to believe there isn't a striker out there for £10m who can produce what Haji has done this year and allow us to strengthen elsewhere too.

For £15m thats a no-brainer gamble for me, and its always a gamble a player will perform as expected.

We could also pick up a striker for £10m that blows his knee or just can’t do the business. Wright’s good, we know his strengths. He can add a little consistency. But any sale/signing for that much money is a risk, not a no-brainer.

I'm pretty relaxed about interest in Haji. We'll set our value if we want to sell. He obviously can score 20+ at this level so we should hold firm on being lowballed.

As disappointed as I was in his performances at the end of the season. He had come off a nasty injury. The thing that's in our favour is Haji can't afford to have a poor attitude if a move doesn't work out or we decided to keep him. He needs to apply himself wherever he is next season or it will torpedo his chances of making the US squad for a home world cup.
