People will keep saying how we have had a great window with who we have kept, etc.
The reality is, we are 2-3 injuries away from being extremely thin.
if we hadn’t of sold Sheaf, brought in Wolfy and an attacking play/winger then that’s very decent.
But that doesn’t seem to be the case.
They must be our longest serving players now.Allen and Eccles have played midfield for us plenty of times in the past few years.
@Jimmy87 said we were after Hughes and WoolfendenHow can we turn 6.5 million away ?we arent working with an endless pot
Godo to join Strasbourg despite Coventry interest
Latest from Sky Sports News' James Cole:
Martial Godo is set to join Strasbourg from Fulham in a permanent deal.
The deal is understood to be worth in the region of £6m.
The 22-year-old winger had been the subject of strong interest from Coventry this summer.
You can be pleased with one scenario and frustrated with the other.Honestly, people on here are so fickle. Bemoaning the lack of transfers all summer (despite signing a few players).
Then we announce buying the stadium, which has been the clubs achilles heel for 20 years.
1 week later everyone is back to moaning about the lack of transfers and progress.
GET A FUCKING GRIP YOU MONGS
We're still paying the wage of Simms ffs, who Lampard has shown is getting minimal game time. Surely a review of his contract and coming to an agreement on paying him out could mean we A) Pay him less in the long run? B) Free up a squad space and some wages for somebody else? Even if just a loan.Thats what I'm surprised by. I thought we would doing a lot of trimming of fringe players and loans out.

I’m sorry if you’re selling your Captain on deadline day there should be a replacement in
it’s really poor
I think we're stronger once Woolfenden comes in. Need to see that officially done though! How are we weaker in defence?
Including the GK, I'd argue we've got a better keeper, got rid of Binks who many hated and replaced him with Wolfenden and also brought in Brau and KHH. Oh, and got rid of Collins.
We're definitely stronger in defence. Potentially we could get a 4th CB for added cover but there's no way we're weaker.
Its also very hard to get high quality players to agree to sit on the bench , there must be some realistic expectation about the quality of players to bulk the squadWe're still paying the wage of Simms ffs, who Lampard has shown is getting minimal game time. Lati, not good enough. Allen, not good enough. Bidwell, not good enough. I know we've not had offers for them (and rightly so) but we can't carry players like this in to the prem.
Even if half of them are only loaned out, it frees up a bit of wage money to bring others in.

His days were numbered when Grimes came in. He was replaced before he'd moved on!@Jimmy87 said we were after Hughes and Woolfenden

Would bring depth on the wings for sureTom Lawrence
Allen and Eccles have played midfield for us plenty of times in the past few years.
They've both played in two play offs and an FA Cup semi final.
They are two good squad players to have.
Time for a Coveeee break.
But as a player, surely you should back yourself to not be sat on the bench? If you're that good, then fight for a shirt. Rather than sit on the bench and wait for an injury or suspension then go straight back to the bench. Thats what a squad is for. Competition. You think KKH happily left Villa after the season he had at PNE to sit on the bench? Or has he come here to fight for a place in the starting line up? Or BTA? Fans favourite and top scorer at WBA, did he leave to be happy to sit on the bench? Or has he come and fought for his place and taken the opportunity given him with 2 goals and 2 assists? Its also very hard to get high quality players to agree to sit on the bench , there must be some realistic expectation about the quality of players to bulk the squad
Weaker in defence? We've only sold Binks and most called him shite. We've brought in KKH and Woolfenden.Realistically, As it stands we’re weaker in defence, weaker in midfield and a striker down. For some reason people now think that a 46 game season is determined by a “starting team” odd.
Much happened in the past 5 hours apart from Sheaf? Had the busiest day in years at work.

No none of that.Really enjoying Matt Smith's monthly meltdown.... we're one more sale away from abandoning all hope, shouting "we're going to get relegated" and crying into his pillow all night.
Well, of course!!!Rather fucking Jennifer Lawrence
