How can a team that plays 433 have such little depth in wingers lol

Really don’t know what to make of this window.

Given it closes in just over 5 hours, it’s highly unlikely without any credible links that there will be much more incomings other than Woolfenden. We don’t seem to have learnt from past mistakes and put all our eggs in one basket. Clearly funds are not an issue if we’re putting in bids of £10m+ for players so to leave us shorter than we were at the start of pre-season with some really underwhelming squad players is a little bit bemusing.

That said, if you had of offered me for us to own the CBS and make little signings, I’d probably take it.

I don’t think we are much stronger than last season which is also a shame as the league is there for the taking this season. All 3 relegated sides look to be struggling and Sheff Utd are in the mud. We may have missed a genuinely good opportunity to cement ourselves as a top two candidate.

So if we confirm Wolfenden, we'll have the following so far this window:

Confirmed In:
Kaine Kesler Hayden - £4m
Miguel Angel Brau - Free
Carl Rushworth - Loan
Luke Woolfenden - £4m (apparently)
CBS Arena - £40m (??)

Confirmed Out:
Luis Binks - £2.5m
Brad Collins - Loan
Fabio Tavares - Free
Ben Sheaf - £6.5m
Norman Bassette - Loan

Have I missed anyone?

If it stays like that and we keep MVW, Haji etc, I'll class that as a decent window and would expect money to spend in January. Could do with another wide player.

Tavares isn’t out on loan. He was released in the summer.

Sheaf's gone to fund Wolfenden. The Binks / rest of Sheaf money pays for KKH. It seems pretty neutral to me.

Probably/possibly MVE had been expected to raise big money, which would have created more possibilities in the window.

Sheaf confirmed 3 years + 1 year option as I'm typing. Now Wolfenden can sign...
