His best game was when he randomly played centre half and turned into prime Maldini.

BRING GUS HOME, DOUG.

(As long as Sheaf passes the medical, if he doesn’t, it may be best to take him out the back and fetch the shotgun…)

Good shout! They've probably been hoovering up all of the other clubs' most promising academy minibuses for years now. They must have a car park full.

Apparently their new 736 seater coach for the first team is too small good to see Lampard using his Chelsea connections finally

Saved one for the Vile on Boxing Day 92 at a foggy Highfield Road though. We could've scored double that, absolutely battered them.

I remember that day, good job it was a kick around mid day because by 3pm there was so much fog, it would not have been played if it was a 3 pm.ko.

I don’t see us signing 3-4 tomorrow - Austin alluded to this in a recent interview. Think a few are going to be disappointed

Way the market works. It’s all kicking off now in the final days.

I reckon we’ve got a surprise signing nobody thought we would get coming in…

Was awful as a striker. Was brilliant as a midfielder for 2/3 of a season before being bought by Clough’s Forest and played again as a centre forward.

Why do people keep saying that? Our midfield is one of the strongest in the division and probably the outstanding area of our team.

Sheaf is a player who I guess looks great in “stat” terms.

Loads of passes completed - great %age passes successful etc.

And in reality, bottled loads of chances to shoot, passed backwards / sidewards instead, took easy passes often, often ran into trouble, had a frequent dither moment and dispossessed.

Has quality but little drive and self-belief.

until one gets injured and there’s the problem, we need good cover,we’ve got even less now, if your leaving it until the last day then it looks like you haven’t got the players you wanted, just making do

In his purple patch about 3 years ago he was breaking up opposition play most effectively, popping up wherever danger threatened but he seems to have lost much of that effectiveness when he got injured the first time and has never quite regained that form.

Goals in the league:

In the last 4 games: Torp - 4
In the last 5 seasons: Sheaf - 7

Cucks on SBT: Drop Torp and play Sheaf
Wrexham: Hold my beer

To everyone going on about selling depth

It's not really depth if they're injured half the season.
