OFFICIAL... It will take 27 players to replace my captain 😪

Blimey, that's a great deal for someone with his injury record. I think he wasn't so injury prone then he would be staying, but he misses a third of every season and Grimes is so much better. Just hope we have a replacement lined up.

We should insist on Sheaf having his medical tonight so it’s done and dusted

Huge lack of respect for our captain and good servant. Injury record not what any of us would wish but he's far better than Allen or Eccles and id prefer those moved on instead. I know some would want this anyway, but lots of fickleness on show here. If he moves, he moves, hopefully for a decent fee and with a replacement lined up.
If you can find someone to pay 6.5 million for either of them I'm with you

entire footballing world is laughing at us selling our “captain” to Wrexham

More likely thinking, "which one of our injury prone players can we send to North Wales and get a shit load of cash in return?"

I'd love Giorgi Chakvatadze but he's currently injured and will cost more than £8m I'd imagine. Stuck out like a sore thumb at the CBS last season, class act.

He was good for us, good player that helped us take the next step. He will do the same for Wrexham but we may be a little bit more further down the line than they are. Rated him and seemed a smart lad who never really let us down. He would be another we should show appreciation for when he turns up at CBS.

Wish the lad well anytime he doesn't play against us.

Saints fan are gagging to be rid of Smallbone. No thanks.

Another player with a fairly long list of bad injuries, including still being out injured currently. Have to say I’ve always thought he was great against us but as we’ve learnt with Sheaf no point having a good player who is going to play so inconsistently.

Absolutely was great against us, but feels like too many people are using this as judgement criteria for signing him. Thanks for a post of some sanity!

We’ve seen the best of sheaf, can see him being one of those players who just fades away without doing much, but on his day really good player

Sheaf could do really well for Wrexham and I wish him the best. He could also go the route of Dabo and perhaps his injuries have had a permanent toll on his body. I guess we’ll find out when he inevitably scores 3 against us later on this season.
