Sheaf is a player who I guess looks great in “stat” terms.

Loads of passes completed - great %age passes successful etc.

And in reality, bottled loads of chances to shoot, passed backwards / sidewards instead, took easy passes often, often ran into trouble, had a frequent dither moment and dispossessed.

Has quality but little drive and self-belief.
In his purple patch about 3 years ago he was breaking up opposition play most effectively, popping up wherever danger threatened but he seems to have lost much of that effectiveness when he got injured the first time and has never quite regained that form.

The shooting of a Stormtrooper.

Goals in the league:

In the last 4 games: Torp - 4
In the last 5 seasons: Sheaf - 7

Cucks on SBT: Drop Torp and play Sheaf
Wrexham: Hold my beer

Not sure if just me but sheaf has never cut the mustard for me. When Eccles and Allen are around you then you will look better and he is a decent footballer overall but another we’ve gone past if we want to progress. The fact he never plays just makes it a no brainer.

been a good servant to the club but the last 12 months or so has been painful to watch him so 6.5m and run.

As an aside, what has Doug received for the SISU squad so far?

Gyok 24m
Hamer 15m
Sheaf 6.5m
Palmer 1.5m
Godden?

Thick end of £50m

If he’s got hold of the club for less than that he’s done well.

If SISU had said at the time “the squad is worth over £50m” I think we would have all (to quote others) said:
“Clueless”
“Embarrassing”

Poor Joy. Dollar short and a day late.

So you would keep sheaf who's injured most the season and not take a very decent offer for him?
it’s a good offer, but it’s a big risk given we have less than 24 hours left.

i’ve been told by a fair few on here we are constantly writing up lists of new targets to replace existing squad members so i have no doubt a quality signing will be in to replacr

Whatever he’s doing it’s working,
play off finalists
fa cup semi finalists
play offs
brought the ground,
and won’t be far off again this season

anyway the important question, is he a clap, standing ovation or boo when he comes to take a corner at the CBS?
