I said this the other day, but Wrexham makes perfect sense. They're the only club daft enough to pay over the odds, and with all their Disney shit, a suitable club for his ego. It is a match made in heaven, and exactly the kind of cucky move he would do.

Whilst we would automatically be stronger without him, and be able to allocate a proper captain who's going to make the difference, we would also have some money to strengthen the squad.

Doug needs to get this done. It's a total no brainer. The only thing I worry about are some of our fans, some of whom will need counseling, others of which will need to make the tough decision as to which club they'll now be supporting.

In all seriousness, he isn't good enough to start now with the squad we have (despite some recent bizzare calls to drop Torp to shoe horn him in). If we can get a few pennies at this point then it makes absolute sense.

So you're saying it'll be like selling Dennis Mortimer, Kevin Gallacher and Dion Dublin rolled into one?

If the money is right for Sheaf - makes sense. BUT WE MUST replace him no question.

My friend, I am just having a little bit of fun.

I will say one thing though, whatever happens tomorrow with incomings and outgoings, I absolutely back Doug to get the best business done possible for us. This kind of thing is his strength.

I think we could be in for some excitement, and as I said previously, I expect to do absolutely no work whatsoever tomorrow.

I’m interested to see how you adapt as a poster once he goes - it’ll be like Tom without Jerry, or Wile E Coyote without the Roadrunner

The Woolf isn’t our primary CH target t Hughes.

the club wanted both.

Hughes to come straight in to the team, Woolf to provide competition …

we may only get The Woolf but don’t expect him to come in and be a class above Thomas and Kitch.

Looks like we will have to wait until next summer transfer window, when Hull's transfer embargo is lifted.

A lovely piece of fan mail, thank you.

I'll worry about that once its all done, but my first call to action will probably put a bet on us to get promoted.

I’d personally keep Sheaf but from his POV, I’d probably want to leave. He’s 27, not in the starting XI anymore but on the rare occasions he’s not injured and when he’s on form, he’s one of the best in the league.

If he does go, good luck to him. He’s been great.

We have to sell some players to fund the incoming targets.

would you sooner keep Sheaf or MVE ?

Would you sooner keep Sheaf than Wright ?

Sheaf or Rudi ?

Sheaf or Thomas ?

It's obvious that someone has to go to top up the coffers and I think in all likelihood everyone was effectively available, it just depended on the deal put forward as to who it was going to be. Sheaf feels like the most easily replaceable out of MVE, Thomas, Rudoni

Sheaf off to the sheep botherers and O'Hare linked with being binned off to the Polish league, I can only assume it's been a smug couple of days for ESB?

No brainer for sheaf, pay rise and would actually start, but Seeing as we haven’t even replaced binks yet, doubt we’ll let sheaf go,

Maybe Frank is happy to go with Grimes, Torp, Rudi, Eccles, Allen, Andrews and Lati ( at a push ) as midfield options if it means he can bring in another winger or a centre half ….

Personally would be sad to see Sheaf go, perhaps more heart ruling head as he feels like the last of the play off final key members of the squad. An unbelievable player on his day, but sadly his day hasn’t been seen for the best part of 2 years now. Would rather he stays and fights for his place, but we will see.
