I agree but not as frightening as the drop off between sTats / EMC and Rapha or the gap between Kitch and Perry ….

The gap in central midfield is more narrow than either wing or CH at the minute

it’s not a perfect world you can’t just keep adding and not selling players
Thing is, you can change formations to accomodate for a lack of wingers.

You have CM's in any formation you play.

I said this the other day, but Wrexham makes perfect sense. They're the only club daft enough to pay over the odds, and with all their Disney shit, a suitable club for his ego. It is a match made in heaven, and exactly the kind of cucky move he would do.

Whilst we would automatically be stronger without him, and be able to allocate a proper captain who's going to make the difference, we would also have some money to strengthen the squad.

Doug needs to get this done. It's a total no brainer. The only thing I worry about are some of our fans, some of whom will need counseling, others of which will need to make the tough decision as to which club they'll now be supporting.

In all seriousness, he isn't good enough to start now with the squad we have (despite some recent bizzare calls to drop Torp to shoe horn him in). If we can get a few pennies at this point then it makes absolute sense.
This isn’t just Sheafposting, it’s M and S Sheafposting.

Sheaf would be an excellent player for Wrexham, especially with O'brien in midfield with him, those two would make Wrexham quite a force in the championship, especially if they can add a pacy striker to partner Moore.

Sheaf off to the sheep botherers and O'Hare linked with being binned off to the Polish league, I can only assume it's been a smug couple of days for ESB?

To be honest, it is hard not to be when you're in the minority and have taken shit off most of the forum for an extended period of time over both. I guess that's part of the reason football is so interesting and we love it. Full of opinions, and morons, such as myself. At least I stuck to my guns, I suppose!

That said, I really think this Wrexham move would make sense. If it also means we can hang on to players like MvE, Rudoni, and Wright then even more so.

It wouldn't give us much time to spend the money at this stage, but equally I wouldn't be at all surprised if Doug has chatered a private jet and kidnapping squad to go over to Austin FC and get Pereira already.

I wonder if the bloke who's turned Rudoni into one of the best players in the division and Torp not far behind him at this rate knows what he's doing with his midfield?
A meltdown about captain sicknote. Get a grip people.
Tomorrow is going to be fun.
What the hell does one of the best midfielders England have had know about who is a good midfielder.

It’s kinda exciting this late in the window right? And he is our captain.
I’m really hoping we’ve got someone lined up.

It will be fun for some of us. Some of the more concerned posters will be wearing adult nappies and popping valiums all day.
