Sheaf is quality for you but he doesn’t half miss a lot of games through injury. Definitely don’t rate Wrexham’s transfer policy - especially as they had Danny Ward and Conor Coady off
us

Im not sure I agree with all the twitter fans telling Wrexham fans hes shit ... hes not shit hes a good player but at this time I feel like the move could work out well for us with his injuries becoming more frequent and could help us fund what we need

Exactly. With his injury record if it's a decent bid makes absolute sense to sell

Selling Sheaf for millions to replace him with a loan would be pretty bad to be honest.

I’d argue tho we already replaced him with Grimes. Ideal world they’d get someone to compete with Torp

You seriously need to take a break from this for your own sanity, absolute comedy gold to view though. Should post some Preston or Watford tweets tomorrow for us to see

You sure we went for both? Not wanting to doubt you - just surprised at the cash that would have costed us. Especially as it looks like there is no "major" player outgoings. Could be a rare exciting deadline day for us, just a shame it finishes at 7pm!

Yeah it seems like there could be a bit of late movement.
I don't take everything i get told for fact myself, only passing on a few snippets of what i hear. He's usually pretty good for info though. As always, nobody really knows everything as the club are trying to do things under the radar now.

If it is true also seems odd for Sheaf to be on the bench for us, unless its literally happened in the last 12-18 hours

Embarrassing, who gives a flying fuck about the most random teams in our league making signings we have no relevance too

The consensus the start of this summer was we wanted to upgrade Eccles if possible. Him being a capable replacement now is cope.

If we keep MVE, Rudoni etc and Sheaf is the biggish sale then fine…

Maybe why poor Matty Grimes had to run himself into the ground yesterday, no way do you put sheaf anywhere near the pitch if there’s a deal being discussed

No idea if Rak Sakyi could slot straight in to Championship football (likely not immediately), but because of the way he plays, bringing him in as a loan with an option to buy could be excellent succession planning re; Grimes. Similar playing style imo and having Grimes as a mentor would be helpful.

Wrexham's transfer dealings on the face of it don't appear to be on a predetermined basis. They just seem to chuck money at positions they think they need almost on a whim.

Never kicked a football in a professional game and never even had a loan out. Its a massive risk and stinks ofa cheap option. Concerning.

Also Wrexham will probably be challenging us for the top 6 this season, this decision would be ridiculous and kings most embarrassing unless he’s got a proven cm coming in! Even then I wouldn’t sell him regardless

Yeah but Sheaf is not a partner I don't think and not a replacement either from his perspective?

It’s shocking, yeah he might be good in a few years but sheaf is a proven player and one of the best in the league
