Yes in the Europa Conference League last week. In all seriousness Binks wasn’t great, but if it was a choice between him being backup or an untested kid I’d choose Binks
As soon as there was cash on offer you’ve got to take it. It was a very poor signing that we’ve got away with.

So basically, you’d feel much more relaxed about the whole thing if we signed a load of unknown players, which you then later on find out are shit?
So every unknown player is shit? Or, are some risks that are worth taking..... COH, Hamer, Gyokeres, Rudoni. Until we took a risk on these players, honestly, who on this thread had ever heard their names before? I hadn't. In fact, i thought Gyokeres was dogshit in his 6 month loan spell and was flabbergasted when we actually spent real life money on him. Look how that turned out.

Granted, were a million miles away from this, but Man City, Chelsea etc, have 800+ youths on theor books to hopefully find 2 or 3 players. Im not for a minute suggesting we go to that extreme or are in a position to, but you can't spend the entire summer chasing 1 CH. Im not saying cast a net and hope to catch something either. But nobody on here can claim this has been anything but an underwhelming window.

Who knows maybe the club could still look at another Cb (Pye is avaliable for apparently three million Doug )
Yeah, they could easily be looking at other candidates and will probably have something up their sleeve for a bit of last minute drama. With regards to LB, i don't think we need 3 there on the books, could well see a late move out if things fall into place.

We are only four games in. Fucking hell. All new players need time to adapt and earn their place. It doesn’t mean Lampard doesn’t rate them . Choose another sport as football clearly isn’t for you
There's giving them time to settle.in, then there's not. Not even 10 mins today for KKH when MVE was clearly not at it. How does a player settle in, if he can't play to settle in? Thats like telling the new kid in class to integrate with his peers, whilst making him sit in the corner all alone.

There is a cautionary tale for yourself in this part mate…
Oh, cuz you seen the player in Gyokeres from the first touch did you? Bullshit. I know as a fact, MANY on here and that I speak to at games and within my group thought the same. But you clearly know better and could see what Robins seen...... which is why you're on here, not managing Man City instead of Pep

Woolfenden looks like a seasoned pro with the right sort of experience and a good age at 26. I think he would be less of a risk than Hughes who is only 22 and has played less than half the number of games as Woolfenden and mostly at a lower level.

On this point you can argue matchdays makes up very little of a players time with a club, with training taking up the bulk.

KKH has just joined his first perm club following a transfer, a lot of time will be spent getting him around the group and learning the tactics and his role in them. Why Lampard didn’t sub him no idea but ten minutes wouldnt make the world of difference to this progress

Thought he looked pretty decent; as did many on here 🤣 thought the same when I saw Hamer play in the Rangers friendly.

You’re getting upset now so I’ll leave it there. Plus I’ve got to be in Brighton for 2pm tomorrow and haven’t even picked my team yet.

He absolutely had the raw qualities and plenty on here said so. Think the concensus was he should play down the middle and not off the left if I remember
