I am too but I am sure that there is plenty going on to secure one . I think that there are a number of relevant factors. Firstly we are probably looking at better quality CB's for which there will be a number of clubs competing for. Secondly Wrexham & Birmingham have inflated the market by throwing large sums of money at transfers generally. I've little doubt that player agents will be hawking players to these 2 just to push up the transfer fee. We aren't shopping at Poundland or picking up the waifs and strays any more. Finally both parachute clubs and the 2 previously mentioned will offer far greater wages than we can. Difficult market generally.He would be a very good signing.

We're not after lower quality players and don't want to pay over the odds. It isn't as easy as many seem to think. Does anyone think we're not trying to improve our squad? Clubs holding out for more money also have to balance it with having time to replace players sold.
