Just find it mad that we’re now at 414 pages on one thread and we’ve basically brought in a replacement loanee for an injured keeper, a decent RB and an unknown-quantity LB. Feels like this window has gone on for fucking years at this point

(Oh and there also now seems to be a trend of people writing essay-length posts about how they think we do or don’t shop in the transfer market Please make this window stop )

Ironically I think they’re lack of signings has made this thread a lot longer

Yeah. He dropped back there in a game when someone went off injured and looked brilliant. He then played the next 2 or 3 games there and didn't look so good. His positioning was suspect if I remember right.

I know things aren't as simple as we all hope, but you would think FL is astute enough to know that our squad depth is pretty poor in some areas. I would hope he has been banging King's door down asking for additions to the squad.

I guess the danger is if we keep getting knocked back by teams like Hull and Ipswich then we could end up with nothing, or worse, we panic and get someone who isn't a good fit.

I often find it bemusing that as a fan base (generically) we often call out deficiencies on our team and get angry at the apparent lack of effort to address it.
