Why would he come to us to be a bench player when he wants to leave ipswich for first team football.Someone like Woolfenden would be perfect if it’s a replacement for Binks. Experienced, talented, probably a similar level to Bobby/Kitch. Reduces the risk of Bidwell playing centre half in a meaningful game.
If it’s the Bobby replacement then we’d need another (Asante makes sense if that’s a real rumour as a young talented player with upside to push the other 3)

Most clubs these days won’t even put in a bid until they’re fairly confident they can get the deal done.
