I’ve heard the same on that he is not happy at the lack of playing timeIpswich supporting brother in law thinks the fee will be around £6m, and that they would sell him, they've been trying to get another CB in as apparently he's told the club he wants game time. Not ITK by any means!!!
Have yiou thought maybe we did have someone lined up and couldnt get them. Binks wanted to leave Lampard said himself. So this dispels the rumour that we had anyone lined up when we sold Binks
Looks like we're throwing a tonne of bids around hoping something will stick...
Disgrace really
Would you rather we sign players who clubs are desperate to get rid of?Throwing around bids for players who don’t seem available isn’t screaming well thought out transfer strategy.
Best have a word with Liverpools team then.....Throwing around bids for players who don’t seem available isn’t screaming well thought out transfer strategy.
Why would he come to us to be a bench player when he wants to leave ipswich for first team football.Someone like Woolfenden would be perfect if it’s a replacement for Binks. Experienced, talented, probably a similar level to Bobby/Kitch. Reduces the risk of Bidwell playing centre half in a meaningful game.
If it’s the Bobby replacement then we’d need another (Asante makes sense if that’s a real rumour as a young talented player with upside to push the other 3)
Fair point but could also make sense that it’s pushing Kitch or Bobby down to a rotation spot. Why would he come to us to be a bench player when he wants to leave ipswich for first team football.
Well no, obviously not but there is a difference between players clubs are desperate to get rid of and players that clubs will field reasonable offers for. Most clubs these days won’t even put in a bid until they’re fairly confident they can get the deal done. Lurching from target to target, putting in bids below valuation and then scampering away with our tails between our legs just comes across a bit amateurish, is all. Also, let’s everyone know we’ve got some money burning a hole in our pocket for a centre back which isn’t ideal either.Would you rather we sign players who clubs are desperate to get rid of?
Some people on here are genuinely mental during the transfer window hahaha
WHo says he will be a bench player here? Why would he come to us to be a bench player when he wants to leave ipswich for first team football.
Who is saying that?WHo says he will be a bench player here?
He would be instead of Thomas ….Why would he come to us to be a bench player when he wants to leave ipswich for first team football.
Surely the point of negotiating is go in low to being with.Well no, obviously not but there is a difference between players clubs are desperate to get rid of and players that clubs will field reasonable offers for. Sparks isWho is saying that?
If he signed for us he'd get a decent amount of games as they would rotate the CBS.
He just purposely bids well under the asking price
CCFC96 was talking about him being a replacement for Binks.Sparks is
We clearly know Woolfenden wants to leave (Ipswich ITKs said this a few weeks ago) and that we were interested in Jan. So do some people on here. That's the beauty of the transfer rumours, they suck in all manner of fans to click on your page and increase the ad revenue.Reading their form again, many can see why he would want to leave given he is clearly not a first choice. Also they seem to think that they are in negotiations with Bøving
Pure speculation and utter drivelSo this dispels the rumour that we had anyone lined up when we sold Binks

We'll revisit this at the end of the windowPure speculation and utter drivel
Except we don’t have to replace a whole squad. No need to panic.
We have no idea what bids or negotiations have been taking placeWe'll revisit this at the end of the window![]()

Where you getting 2 cb's from? We're not going to go with 5 in the squadWoolfenden would start, Binks was a squad player.
Franks wants 2 more centre half’s.
I suspect one is a proven championship player, their other a younger player with potential.
