Did you notice Mcburnie have a whisper in Palmers ear after Thomas took him out? Clearly because Mcburnie was on a yellow he asked Palmer to go through Thomas, which he duly did. Cock.
Yep i said in another thread, Palmer is a bit of a sly c**t. Bizarre he was applauded, hopefully someone goes through him in the away game.

Impact perhaps wrong word. The point is we need someone different as an option.

palmer did more in his cameo than any of their other players going forward, getting behind lines and created something with tight control and turn holding off 2 players after receiving the ball.

Not suggesting he was world beating, making general point we miss that point of difference.

After hearing lampards interview on Wright I no longer will ask for him on LW. I understand how lampard sees him and hope he can get it out of him when he's fully fit

The problem is Haji Wright prefers playing on the left.

Example being, look at impact palmer had Saturday, we are crying out for that as an option, different point. Would love COH in this team also.
Are you saying you thought Palmer made a real impact when he came on as sub?

I thought he looked decidedly mediocre, and the only impact I saw was when he hit row Z when shooting at goal.

Exactly this. The obsession with buying a striker this window is just strange.

We play a formation with 2 wingers and do not have credible backups. Over a 50 game season, Sakamoto and EMC will both miss games. To his credit, Saka was reliable and durable last season.
We need a winger more than a striker for sure

Either 2 wingers or one that can play either flank

Alongside a CB replacement for binks I would happy with that tbh

If sheaf out long term then another midfield body wouldn't go a miss

In relative terms for them he did, given they did little else, yes he did.

And yes his end product was next to nothing, like a lot of his time here.

I was merely making the point, we lack a 10 as another option currently - that is clear as day.

Well not losing in the playoffs would have been nice but we went into it having won’t 3 in 9 or something and played two of the most tactically inept matches I’ve ever seen.

What I’m saying is that 30% is a more common win percentage than 90% as he’s had twenty games at the former and ten at the latter. For me he needs to start showing pretty quick he can manage a football team and not just stick them on the pitch and hope for the best. The great irony is he’s got Ellis Simms and BTA to thank for that run an he absolutely refuses to repeat it.

We were easily the better team against Sunderland. Tactically inept is just another clueless rant from you.

I haven’t come across a single neutral that thought Sunderland were the better side of the tie.

We beat Sunderland over the 90 minutes and had it not been for MVE’s back pass in the first leg, it could’ve been the difference between us winning the tie.

I mean this is beyond ridiculous. The winning streak is now a “freak” run. No. It was just games we won. Remember where we were when Lampard came in. He’s still trying to clear out some of the bizarre signings he inherited to rebuild the squad and that takes time.
The reason people separate that run from the rest is because we were playing a different formation for it.

You’ll have people like bali or Chris coming along telling you we shouldn’t be spending £1 on any of these positions and we’re good with what we have
Yet again just making up nonsense to fit your agenda. Please find a post where I have stated we are good with what we have. It's going to be a never ending wait .

The same ones who thought we would bankrupt the club by signing a keeper on loan
You have people like Dom coming along making stuff up against posters who dare to disagree with some of his opinions. Please highlight where I stated the club would be bankrupted by signing a keeper on loan. Please don't lower yourself to his basement level - you're better than that.

You’ve said numerous times we’d go bankrupt if we sign a few players this summer

Wow I really don’t give that much of a fuck, it’s not that deep. Not going to go through pages of posts on a football forum, he’s always moaning when signings get suggested
