Yeah fair, Lampard obvs wants to play that way (and I’m not for one second saying I’m a better manager than FL, clearly not ) but I honestly think Haji looks more comfortable out wide and playing him there gives us depth and competition for that LW spot. If we then bought in a quality striker we’d have great depth across the whole front line.

But you’re never going to carry a squad with Wright, BTA, Simms and Bassette for one role. Offload Bassette and Simms then maybe. Otherwise we go as we are.

Exactly my point, I personally think Haji is better on the left which then allows a space for a new ST, whilst also providing competition and depth for the LW spot. If we loan out Bassette and bring in a new ST then we have at least 2 players competing for every spot across the front line, currently we have 1 player for LW, 4 players for ST and 2 for RW. Just seems like an easy decision to play Haji on the left, freeing up space for a new ST and giving depth to the LW.

Without injuries EMC will be in his best position in the left and Wright will be in his best position in the middle with Saka on the right. Rudoni will be playing behind them all waiting for runs into the area.

Looks like Dausch is joining Moore at Forest Green

Wouldn’t be a summer under Bling without losing our best player.

3 summers in a row now. Let’s hope we see something in return

Most players who stand out at this level tend not to stay in it for long. Rudoni will very clearly be next summer if we don’t go up.

I'd potentially throw Wright into that mix as well.

Needs a good season, he’s far too inconsistent.

You would like to hope if we had any ambition of promotion, we’d have a summer in which we keep them. I wouldn’t be surprised if either of the 2 players you mention follow Milan out the door. Frustrating summer

I still think he'd probably angle a move away regardless. He's also 28 in March. Might be the only real opportunity for the club to recoup a decent fee for him.

I agree it would be the best time, but his floor is very low compared to Rudoni’s. Could be a gamble clubs just don’t want to take.

Not sure where I said they were on equal footing in terms of demand...

Regardless of how inconsistent he is, he's still one of our main sources of goals.

Also true. If his injury problems flare up again though, clubs will look elsewhere.

He doesn't have injury issues. One season of injuries hardly turns him into Abou Diaby.
