Said before don’t see him wanting to go to Turkey. Poor league outside of three clubs, in actual face a league rated 4 places below the Championship according to Opta Stats. Not a place you see players really develop and grow their careers which is what he would want.
Oshimen should have had his agent call Birmingham, Middlesbrough and co before deciding on Galatasaray then. Not sure why they didn't think of that.

Would be very sad to see him go - he’s as fast as Walker was - number of times he got back to tackle - liked going forward - good long throw in the mix - some pretty vital goals - will take some player to replace him

MVE wont go for less than double digits (£10m) - we are under no pressure to sell, 2 years on contract, best years ahead of him.

We hold all the cards.

Just because yet another random X reported suppose interest, doesn't mean true or we fold for £8million then.
I agree other than £10m could be a bit too high and also not knowing our financial situation.

For all we know MVE could be seen as an important part of a promotion push. If this is the case it would take a big bid to get him. But on the other hand we've already signed a replacement.

We also have this mysterious £15m cash injection. Is it to cover running costs or is it to give it our best shot at promotion? We've already spent about £7m more on players than we have brought in on sales since King took over.

I think the squad is in a great place personally.

Sure we all want to add players of quality but id imagine most clubs in the league if you offered them our squad right now and told them to start the season they'd snap your hands off .

We could start the season tomorrow and id be confident of a top 6 spot

People won’t realise how important MVE was until he’s gone. Got us out of so many terrible situations defensively with his pace
Agree to degree, however, certain amount of them where down to his naivety and defensive positioning. He’s got work to do on that side of his game, arguably all data suggests KKH is stronger there, but weaker offensively.

Odd comment really, Oshimen has ended up there due to attitude issues which has put off other clubs he also went to one of the big three as are linked here. Outside of that it’s a poor league. So it proves it right that it’s not somewhere to go to progress your career.

Not really the same is it? Our goal was poor defending from your defender whereas your winner at our place was from an unforced error. MVE’s back pass was should have been routine but was underpowered which left the GK in no man’s land.

Credit to your players for chasing the ball and punishing the mistake… it was a gift of a goal and it’s something MVE has done a few times last season.
Not really unforced tbf, Le Fée chased him down and put pressure on him in my opinion ...

... anyway I'll clear off as it's your transfer thread, I only came on to say MVE didn't cost you the playoffs which is a fact.

All the best.

Let's see what happens before we say we know the result.

I would guess between £8m and £10m. This is just the latest transfer speculation. He is worth more than £6m to us. We're under no pressure contract wise to sell him cheaply. What we don't know is our financial situation.
We are under pressure to sell him because we’ve already brought in KKH. Teams will know we are intending to sell MVE this window.

€6m he can stay here quite frankly. Fact is very few leagues will pay what a decent Champ player is worth to a team on the brink of promotion. €10m/£8m ish I reckon otherwise keep him.

Not really unforced?? In any pro league, that’s a howler.

All the best to you too. To say it’s not an unforced error, what is?

If you rewatch the clip of him passing the ball Le Fee has actually backed off at that point. It's completely unforced.

Laughable to suggest otherwise frankly.

Not really, it's not great top to bottom but leagues like that will always have teams at the top that are more attractive than your average Championship outfit. Holland is similar, poor top to bottom but delusional to think PSV, Ajax, Feyenoord wouldn't be more attractive than a Championship team.

Not saying they aren’t as I said in Turkey there is the big three, outside of those it’s not an attractive league. Difference with Holland is you do see their younger players push on and move to bigger clubs in Germany, Italy, Spain and the UK but doesn’t really happen from clubs in Turkey.
The intention I get is Van Ewik is ambitious so can’t imagine a move to Turkey being something he would really want. That said money talks. We may see one of the bigger Dutch teams coming in for him.

From the outside it looks like more money has started to find its way into the Turkish league recently tbf.
