I see Brau as the long term replacement for Bidwell which means if FL isnt happy with JDS, IMO another LB is on the cards

Read back. Can't make out if some people are on a wind up. They've constantly seen how foreign players coming to us need time, even those who have become our best players.

Brau looks a good player but only played 26 times in 2 La Liga last year.

I'd expect an adjustment period for him where we rely on Dasilva.

I have a dog called Beau. It's the masculine version of beautiful. Shouldn't have a problem there.

Personally think he’ll be a write off signing like Raphael. Bassette could head that way too

I guess in Texas terms we’re pretty close to London.

Doesn’t FL commute daily?

London to Coventry is the same as just around the corner in America

Haaland, Aquero & co had no issues in the PL. I used to hear that about foreign managers too, first 4 of Chelseas foreign managers won the PL in their first season . Let's not forget who took Sunderland up in their first season in charge.

Beşiktaş offers 6 million Euros!

Beşiktaş, which has been focusing on right-back transfers in recent days, has set its sights on Milan van Ewijk.

Beşiktaş turned to Lucas Vazquez and Nelson Semedo when Bright Osayi-Samuel and Kyle Walker were not there.

It was agreed in principle with Vazguez who left Real Madrid. While the negotiations were going on, Milan van Ewijk entered the agenda.

The offer has been made for the Dutch football player who continued his career in the Championship team Coventry City.

6 MILLION EURO FROM BEŞİKTAŞ

Coach Solskjaer ranked 24-year-old Ewijk in first place. While Coventry City wanted a 10 million euro testimonial, Kartal offered 6 million euros.

Ewijk, who has a 2 more year contract with Coventry, is also looking forward to Beşiktaş.

Absolutely. How would that be in pounds about £4/5 million

It doesn’t really matter, any buying club will know we have to sell him. There’s no chance we get a good fee for him. I believe he’ll be panic sold in August for £6/7m at most

Why would anyone bid more than £6m when they know we have to sell him? His agent will be telling all clubs to keep the transfer fee low and the signing on fee high.

Won’t get £15 million. I think only Rudoni is worth that much ( and a bit more).

Reading the article we want €10 million they’ve offered €6 million. Be interesting to see if we stick to the £8 million requested or drop it down

No one pays £15m for a right back unless you are the real deal. MVE is great but he’s not £15m great.

Said before don’t see him wanting to go to Turkey. Poor league outside of three clubs, in actual face a league rated 4 places below the Championship according to Opta Stats. Not a place you see players really develop and grow their careers which is what he would want.

Barnsley hadn’t been relegated the season before but narrowly missed out on promotion. They didn’t want to sell their captain. We were desperate to buy him - after eliminating Brekalo from our options. Finally, at the end of the transfer window, we signed our man but the price had been forced up.

We paid over the odds for Kitching but found ourselves in a sellers market for him. There is unlikely to be a stampede for Bidwell’s signature after his collapse in form at the end of last season.

He's not getting any younger but he's a very experienced left back. Collapse in form? I suspect he took a knock somewhere or Dasilva wouldn't have played - not for me anyway. I do like Dasilva as an attacking threat if we're chasing a game and he's got good control but 0 goals and 2 assists doesn't really cut it.

Difficult for the club to drop it down too much. We paid around £3.5m for him and I would've thought Heerenveen have a healthy sell-on fee once he's sold.

If you include his wages during his time here, using the 6m euro figure quoted we would've barely made a profit on him.

Maybe not worth £15m but it’s definitely not worth selling him for only £6m, one of our best and most consistent players.

Haaland Aquero

Managers? Did they play?

When was the last foreign player we signed hit the ground running? Other than Grimes when was our last player that did either?

Sure Heerenveen have 20% sell on so needs to be around the £10m mark really to make it a worthwhile fee.

Will be sad to see MVE go but always thought it would be a huge struggle to keep him this summer. I was part of the £15m club but somewhere between £8m-£10m before add-ons would represent good business

Let's see what happens before we say we know the result.

I would guess between £8m and £10m. This is just the latest transfer speculation. He is worth more than £6m to us. We're under no pressure contract wise to sell him cheaply. What we don't know is our financial situation.

MVE wont go for less than double digits (£10m) - we are under no pressure to sell, 2 years on contract, best years ahead of him.

We hold all the cards.

Just because yet another random X reported suppose interest, doesn't mean true or we fold for £8million then.

Kastaneer hit the ground sliding. Does that count?
