Same with wingers ,no ?If you have good centre backs, its rare that you openly look to rotate them.
It's highly unlikely we produce another Madison anytime soon but that doesn't mean others won't be good enough to play at our current levelI wish the lad well but I doubt that he's the next Maddison

I don't think that's necessarily true at all. I don't know whether any of them will make it here for sure but some young players can mature quite quickly and respond well when given game time. Andrews is 18 years old and has been in the senior Welsh squad, its quite clear he at least has 'something'.I think if there was someone capable of playing in a top end Championship team among our youth players we would already know, and they would probably have smashed a loan in L1.

He's at a very good point for an 18 year old imo, the most promising player we've had come through for God knows how many years. Yes a lot of our competitors at Championship level have been way more successful at bringing through youth than us recently. No idea about Raphael, he is spoken about well, Lampard doesn't have to mention him at all if he thinks he's shite but that doesn't seem to be the case. It's a big step for him though, i guess he'll either sink or swim at this point.
