I can't see WBs on that table.they are not the same as a FB. More likely to cover the ground of a Winger and a FB combined.

By the numbers is looks like they've been added to FB. I take your point (and you might be right) but it doesn't really matter when we don't play with WBs... in a 4231/433 wingers are most likely to be substituted meaning we could do with another quality winger as we only have 3 natural ones

The way Lampard spoke about Andrews was noticing different to when he mentioned Obikwu- wey much impressed by Andrews and looking to try and get him first team experience whilst with Obikwu it was typical under 21 stuff about potential and areas to develop.

At a minimum you lose Collins. Ryan you'd offer a 1 year contract and he has left mid season at least 3 times in his career if the chance for playing time elsewhere presents itself.

He strikes me as someone primarily wanting playing time.
If we could agree that then it’s worth it, I just don’t see it as a great deal for Ryan.

Did Sandiford go with the squad to Portugal? I noticed he was in alot of the pre season videos the first week but I've been away and not seen anything from Portugal yet

I know Callum Perry, Justin Obikwu and Kai Andrews went.

That's true but it could just be because he's been working with Andrews and not so closely with Obikwu. They are going to be training for a good while yet.

Obikwu did really well at Grimsby and it was a baptism of fire for the lad.

"In this context, the positions where the most replacements are made during the match are respectively attackers, wide and central midfielders and after these positions, fullbacks and central defenders"

Main reason for changing attacking players is because you're looking to make things difficult for the opposition by changing the way you operate or just to add that bit more energy from fresher legs.

If you're talking about exertion if you're playing FB's that you want to get forward then they should be pretty high on the list. Main reason they don't is because you don't want to upset a defence that has built an understanding.

Moore would of gone but i think they had the FG deal lined up. And if Obikwu gets an extension then i can see him in L1 on loan next season.

I dont buy this no more in either, we will see more loans out, more perm outs and a few more in before we kick a ball in anger.

He was fixed to go to a higher league last season but got injured. Grimsby took him back even though still injured, as they were so impressed with him.

Dolan to Tom Lawrence.

Can't remember him much at Rangers but I'd say that's a disappointing transfer rumour if it's true. Would suspect it's a backup for EMC more than Rudoni.

Dolan would be someone to compete with Sakamoto for the starting position on the right. Lawrence would be squad depth, mainly to cover Rudoni for a few mins here and there. I doubt the 2 are related at all, if we are even actually interesed in one or both of them.

If we aren't in the market for another goalkeeper then there is no way we can afford Dolans inflated wages or substantial signing on fee.
And as for Lawrence we are way past the days when he is seen as a positive signing
It's a no for me for both
