Assuming that our ambitions are still to be a regular top 6 team then Dasilva (at his best) is plenty good enough. And yes, I’m aware that’s a pretty big caveat! He is not good enough for where we want to be.
We will, I wouldn't be suprised if a deal hasn't already been in the pipeline for a while, Doug must of been confident of one to have brought in KKH for good money.Have we accepted a bid?
There is no doubt. Da Silva and Brau will be competing for left back berth.
Da Silva had a very good end to the season and has represented Wales well too.
Bidwell will be sold/moved on.
Bear in mind players can't always just walk into the starting 11 and perform instantly with new team mates, tactics, playing ethos etc. That is really worrisome if so.
Think it should become a League 3 and given at least 1 additional promotion spot personally but not a convo for this thread. A feather in the cap of English football that not only are we the only country that can justify 4 professional leagues but i think we could justify 5. Still plenty of real football fans out there.Judging by your stockports, notts countys etc the nl is maybe better
Bidwell I can see going
Collins too if we can convince anyone to have him
Lampard likes Latibeaudiere
I still think Viveash will convince Boro to come in for Eccles
He was signed by Lens for 6 months to step in for an injured keeper. Seems he wouldn’t be too fussy about playing timewould be a good number 2 backing up Dovin if we didn't have the two jokers also filling up the squad
Yeah and FGR has that mad vegan wind factory grifter as an owner, I'd be happier if we could find a different club at that level. Also they have Robbie Savage managing them.I think someone like Walsall would have been perfect
Most of our players wont be. Thats not what was originally up for discussion. He will never be Premier Leauge quality
Well Robbie Savage has just been appointed at FGR so im not sure about number 3A number of things to consider on a development loan when people come knocking for one of your players.
1. Adopting to a new environment and squad.
2. Will they get opportunities to play.
3. The managers skill set and temperament.
4. The style of play they adopt.
5. The skill set of the coaches at the club.
Some of the above can be more important than the difference between it being a League 1 or League 2 club or a Scottish club.
They do have the largest budget in non league currently. He will be up near the top of the table with decent players around himYeah and FGR has that mad vegan wind factory grifter as an owner, I'd be happier if we could find a different club at that level. so with WIlson or Collins starting?I actually wouldn’t mind going into next season with the squad as it is now

Need to be moving forward every season, not standing still.Nah same squad will yeald the same results. There are 1 or 2 positions that need upgrading if we want to take the next step.
By signing young players you hope to improve them , it's hardly standing stillNeed to be moving forward every season, not standing still.
We certainly need a keeper in on loan we are only an injury away from Collins back in goalNah same squad will yeald the same results. There are 1 or 2 positions that need upgrading if we want to take the next step.
It doesn’t really matter as it won’t be the same squad it is now incredibly rare that clubs don’t make at least 4-5 changes to the squad each summer.I actually wouldn’t mind going into next season with the squad as it is now
There are obvious areas for improvement that need addressing and we have a new manager who will want to stamp his own mark on the team. Mad to think we won't want to change a few things.By signing young players you hope to improve them , it's hardly standing still
I read that as buffoon which completely changed the meaning....Unless Collins has undergone a transformation this summer and all of a sudden is prime Buffon then yeah it's stupid not getting a new GK and off loading Collins
Problem is, it will surely lead to Wilson being pissed off as the No.2. His role is to fill in for Dovin when he is injured, if you then go out and get a new temporary No.1, you're basically saying to Wilson that he can't be trusted. If we shift Collins, would someone come in on loan to be second choice behind Wilson for 6 months? For the hassle it might cause, I wouldn't be surprised to see nothing happen in goal and they wait it out and cross their fingers nothing catastrophic happensWe certainly need a keeper in on loan we are only an injury away from Collins back in goal

Wilson will have just been happy to get a contract and stick around. Going into the season with him starting would be madness.Problem is, it will surely lead to Wilson being pissed off as the No.2. No that random. He’s just ran away managing the team who just stormed their league. Will end up like Troy Deeney, they just bring random people in.
Didn't they want the woman from Chelsea at the time as well?
Trouble is funding 5 divisions full time is unaffordable without money from the Prem clubs. Germany only has two. And the Prem clubs increasingly feel less inclined to the charity of helping fund the lower leagues from their TV money. And you can see why. The Premier League is the exact opposite of a feather in our cap and represents everything wrong with modern football, but again, a different thread. I'm far more proud of our pyramid than the division at the top of it.Trouble is funding 5 divisions full time is unaffordable without money from the Prem clubs. Germany only has two. No one is making that out.Goalkeeper is an issue but aside from moving on a central defender and a central midfielder I don't think the squad is as barren or lacking in quality as is being made out .
more likely that Wright is ahead of themI think we neee a new striker but people clearly think BTA or Simms will come good.
Definitely. Need someone to want to take one of them though.I think we neee a new striker but people clearly think BTA or Simms will come good.
And if he gets injured again like he did last year and recently?more likely that Wright is ahead of them
