He's an idiots signing. Good player when fit but just never is fit these days. Wages will be huge as a free agent. Suspect he will end up at a team like Leeds on a heavily structured deal.

Calvert-Lewin has been poor at Prem standard recently, hence I'm not entirely certain a Prem club goes for him. But to suggest he's no better than Simms or BTA is mental.

I think we do ourselves down a bit too much these days. We aren't the league paupers anymore and probably one of the most attractive moves outside of the parachute clubs. I don't see a player like Calvert-Lewin as horrendously unrealistic tbh.

Absolutely not if it’s a player knowing he needs to step down a division, we ought to be right in top half dozen options. In his case I presume he will go to another lower team in the PL

At the start of Lampard's reign he seemed to be incredibly keen on Wilson, despite the fact he was injured - maybe influenced by the golden glove status from a couple of years ago. Would be interested to know his view now.
