I very much doubt that. Clubs sending their young players out on loan will inevitably expect them to receive consistent game time so using them as squad filler won't really be an option.
I think anyone brought in on loan will probably have a fairly prominent role in the squad.

Yes think there is nothing to it, but we need rotation for Rudoni and Sakamoto and Brooks provides that without having players who can only play CAM or RW.To be honest someone like Brooks makes sense from that angle. Would get game time at both RW and AM throughout the season.

Thats why i like that italian striker, can play down the middle or on the wing too.
Backup doesnt necessarily mean 2 players per position, its about flexibility of players to play other positions.

Loved Clive Platt, not a particularly good footballer but was better than given credit for especially utilised correctly.
