He forgot to switch to his burner account.

He hasn’t scored since October so if we get a good bid for him, I’m not that arsed about selling him. If we’re potentially looking at Piroe, it’s a decent swap.

If we sold Wright would we want to look at Piroe on a prem?

Personally? I’d say no. The signings this Jan should be temporary because we need the flexibility going into the summer should we promoted.

Perhaps Lampard sees things differently but Piroe is a player who’s top quality for the Championship, probably not quite good enough to establish himself in the Prem.

Surely accidental? Even if he was in talks with Burnley why would he follow a random fan page? Not even the official club account.

I find it interesting we’re (as in SBT posters, not the club) happy to write off a player wanted by a top flight club in favour of one that a top flight club wants rid of.

Could it not be that he wanted to follow the official club site and didn't realise he had clicked on the fan site by mistake instead?

If he wasnt going, why would he be looking at a random fan page to be in a position to accidentally follow it?

Are we really calling Burnley a top flight club? Theyre as much a top flight club as us at this moment. Same goes for West Ham.

He may be worried that he’s not good enough for the Premier League, so he wants a move that ensures he’s in the Championship next season

Even if he was up north having a medical right this second, why would he follow the official account? Surely just wait until it’s done.

Honestly at this point, with how flaky and inconsistent he is, I'll be happy to see him go granted we've got a decent deal for him.
Also, the fact (if true) its been done nice and early allowing us to reinvest the money is great. Not leaving it till the very last minute like.we did with Sheaf.

If Wright goes and we can get someone in to play LW what about EMC as a striker, even if only on an occasional basis?

We won’t know unless we try it but he does seem to have a good eye for goal.

Unless it was a tactic by Doug to up the bids for him with the cheeky West Ham £200m quote?

My best ever away day was at Burnley. Stephen Hughes was sent off, City lost 4-0, but we won a crab in a meat raffle.

Burnley American ownership with JJ Watt too, there’s more to it, I suspect. Can see it happening. A move that suits all parties.

He flatters to deceive haji has all the attributes to be a top top player but hasn't the hunger or fight in him to achieve it. He should be unplayable with the size and speed of him but he's more likely to duck out of the way rather than put his head in where it hurts to score a goal. Frustrating to watch because he could be so much more.
