If you had to move a player or two out you could even if you paid all the wages just to get them out of the way.

Not really a cat in hell's chance of it happening, but I think we could do with three players.

We need a CM and a LB, but if FL isn't going to play Woolfenden, we could do with a really decent centre back too

Lately there have been far too many mistakes from Thomas and Kitching.

I think 3 excellent signings could really change our fortunes. Not going to happen though, so really hoping for Onyeka or a really good alternative.

Think that may well be it

We will sign none. The fact we have a good chance of staying in this league will mean King will keep the purse strings closed.
The current form is nothing to do with Doug. He will be as miffed as we all are I'm sure.

It is on Frank, the coaches and the players who need to solve the very clear issues. We are so open. Signing a CM doesn't change that On it's own. We can all see the players positions are all over the place.

The next 48 hours will decide if we go up still or settle for another 5 years in the championship. The teams next season will be ridiculously strong, Wrexham Birmingham then the teams coming down, it’s really now or never

Signing a cm will help, grimes just isn’t physical or good enough, it pains me to say it because I’ve wanted him for years. He looks tiny compared to other teams midfielders

Well we didn't piss around getting the wingers in which we all accepted we needed.

I agree on a CM, I think we need one and yes ideally a couple of weeks ago.

However the form and the way we are playing in and out of possession is nothing to do with him. My concern is our head coach sorting out the major issues.

I agree. A CM will help. But if he is exposed with our system and our positions then similar outcomes will carry on.
I do think a ball winning CM is imperative but I think managing games better would also help.

Today could have been an ugly 1-0 away win had we done that.

We got in a winger who was a backup for Portsmouth. It stinks of a cheap bargain basement option.

We’re top of the league too, what the hell are we playing at. It’s just sad we won’t get a better chance for a long time, who knows he might have a massive surprise over the next 48 hours but I have no confidence

I don't know why we didn't deploy the Southampton tactic when going a goal up. Especially like today when we go 1 nil up in the 2nd half

We went down to 10 men against Southampton and we really tightened up at the back, got organised and looked so much more solid and defended brilliantly

Imagine setting up like that after going a goal up and with 11 men.

We could have tightened up today and then just tried to hit them on the break, when Eccles made the breakthrough.

It is down to the players but it's Frank's responsibility to set them up. There was no need to continue ploughing forward today and the same against Norwich. Milan and JDS are fucking clueless and Milan is so overrated their awareness on the pitch is zero. The same goes for Bobby and Kitching why the fuck is Kitching attempting to win a ball in midfield without having the sense to realise there's a gaping hole being left. They are both weak as fuck, Kone bullied them today. I really don't see where we go from here. We need a complete new back line and it's not going to happen. We either go 3 at the back or give Lati and Woolfy a go they can't do any worse surely. We need to win the next 2 home games which I think we'll do despite Boro being in form we will raise our game at home and moving forward we need to stay compact away from home and hit teams on the break but my fear is Frank is either too stubborn or too dumb and if it's the latter then we need to replace him with a coach who actually has some technical nous and is tactically astute to change things as and when required.

In reality if we were proactive we could have done the surgery needed.

We could have loaned or sold one of Lati and got a CB in.
We could have sorted out the LB issue
Could have got a CM

Could have got rid of Brau, Bidwell, Andrews.

Our problems this season started when Doug didn't want to spend what we needed for Hughes

I still think Hughes was / is overpriced. That of course doesn’t mean we shouldn’t have had other attainable targets lined up that we could have jumped on instead.

Wrexham and Brum are starting to tick along nicely now and we'd not stick a chance next season especially with the potential for I'd say at least 3 of our supposed better players leaving. Our defence is so weak and positionally unaware. Frank has to take the lion's responsibility for today though because the message should have been shut up shop but no they continued to plough forward.

It's on King now. He didn't back the manager at all in the summer. Now we have a 3 month sprint from, despite recent results, a good position. Just fucking spend some money to kick us on a bit ffs. Best ever chance and we're pissing it away penny pinching.
